Steven McInerney from the impressive City blog, In Esteemed Kompany, has had a chat with us
about his aspirations for the season ahead, as well as looking back at the success of last
season.
Scott the Red: Were you happy with your team's performance last season?
Steven McInerney: Of course it was a fantastic year for us.
It seems that the first big story of the 2011 soccer seasojn is the pending loan agreement
between Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League and the LA Galaxy of the MLS. the deal
would take former England captain David Beckham back to his London hometown for a couple of months
until the Galaxy's season starts up again in March.
Veteran Rangers captain David Weir says he would love to take up any
offer from Everton manager David Moyes to join the coaching team at Goodison Park.
But the 40-year-old says he will not decide on whether to continue playing until the end of the
season.
Moyes told BBC Scotland that he would love Weir to join his backroom staff.

We are off the mark in League 1. It wasn't pretty, but a solid performance ensured that we came

Good article on MLSsoccer.com about Gavin Wilkinson and his travels abroad. I think we all
already knew this, but he pretty much spelled it out that we're going to see a couple new faces
this off season from abroad which shouldn't be surprising given the amount of scouting he's been
doing in recent months.
