In promotion of ESPN's 2010 World Cup coverage the sports network giant has commissioned
artists, at the direction of ESPN and Wieden+Kennedy agency, to depict a story in each of the 32
team's in a mural.
Vanity Fair reports that each mural will appear in publications and on subway platforms and
billboards in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and elsewhere from now through mid-July, the network
worked with the Wieden+Kennedy ad agency and the little-known AM I Collective, a
group of artists based in Cape Town, South Africa.

benefit a good cause? Here at AFR we're all about spreading the word for some of the problems that
need to be dealt with around the world, and with South Africa in the spotlight, we thought we would
enlighten you on an organization doing great work in the Rainbow Nation.
These signs posted on street lamp poles in Cape Town celebrate the soccer spirit that is overtaking
the whole country.It seems nearly every city vehicle or city building is festooned with the Cape
Town/South Africa 2010 logo seen on this police truck and the above street flags.In less than a
month's time, this street signs will direct throngs of spectators to a large outdoor screen for
viewing
Here at In The Stands we like to we like to help awareness of as many
good causes as we can. With the World Cup approaching one big benefit to
the hosts is that football fans will support charities which benefit many of the locals. These
Numbers Have Faces have come up with a prediction game for us to play, with all proceeds going to
soccer and education programs in South Africa.

Kennedy the crew responsible for Nike's Write The Future ad who in turn hired out the Cape Town,
South Africa illustrators known as the Am I Collective.
The concept was to be based upon 80's Ghanaian movie posters, an art genre probably unknown to
most, and they took three months to complete murals for all 32 teams.
