Sporting Kansas City's busy week continues.

After dealing Davy Arnaud to Montreal to re-acquire Seth Sinovic and re-signing goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen, Sporting KC added depth to its midfield Tuesday, acquiring Paulo Nagamura from Chivas USA in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft.

Small confession: I did not watch Saturday's 2-1 Seattle Sounders victory over the Chicago Fire. I was setting up my wife's surprise birthday party and used the game as plausible cover. So, my impressions are are based on what I heard on the radio and saw in highlights.

First off, it should be said that listening to a Sounders game on the radio is really a very enjoyable experience.

The one piece of confirmed news from yesterday's transfer deadline tells us that Spurs failed in a late bid to sign Charlie Adam from Blackpool.

While many Spurs fans were praying for the arrival of a world class striker, the club made a last ditch attempt to sign the Blackpool captain, who has been the subject of transfer rumours all month.
