'Tis King Eric's 49th birthday today, so we thought we'd celebrate by revisiting his finest
hour; his appearance on live French debate show Coté Tribune back in 2001 in which, while under
questioning about his infamous kung-fu assault at Selhurst Park, Cantona takes flight after being
riled by a journalist describing said incident as 'unforgivable', a rant which ultimately sees him
vowing to do the Pope an extreme urinary disservice then promising every journalist in the land the
same treatment.
Wow this could be epic. Eric Cantona wants to be French president. Could you imagine him meeting
with Obama, we need this to happen.
A few years ago there was a song by the famous British band Motorhead called "The King of
kings"; this song is so apt for the big four of English football in my opinion. Why so? Every club
has a king who is celebrated and revered by the fans and this is somewhat the song that units the
big four. In this post we bow down to the kings of the big four.
It's been that kind of week for United. Starting with the win over QPR, deemed unfair thanks to
Young's gravity-tripping right till the otherwise comprehensive win over Villa still deemed unfair,
thanks to... oh. Well, that aside, it's also been generally unsatisfying for this time of the
season as a United fan.

Manchester United commercial director Richard Arnold has dismissed suggestions that the club
signs international stars from emerging football nations to sell in those particular markets,
insisting that each of the club's players has the pull equivalent to that of George Clooney in
Hollywood.
Arnold was speaking in response to reports that United's potential signing of Japanese starlet
Shijni Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund is primarily aimed at generating revenue from football shirt
sales in the island nation.
