Preston North End Football Club is an English professional football club located in the Deepdale
area of the city of Preston, Lancashire, currently playing in the second tier of English league
football, The Championship. They were a founding member of the English Football League in 1888 and
were the first English football champions.
Artistic drawings of Portsmouth's new home and away football jerseys for the 2009-2010 season
have been revealed showing what the shirts will look like that are designed by Canterbury, the
shirt's manufacturer.
The Portsmouth home shirt in the classic Pompey blue features an aerodynamic design that looks
very modern with a dark blue trim that's accentuated with white flecks.
SPL side Motherwell have released their new home jersey for the 2009-10 season, manufactured by New
Zealand based Canterbury. It is an amber shirt with claret and white trim and claret hoop. The
Canterbury logo is below the collar, with the Motherwell crest and the logo of sponsors JAXX below
it. It is accompanied by yellow [.
Happy Saturday morning ... as the clouds roll in, bringing some much needed rain to these
parts. I went for a run yesterday after work and jogging by the fire house, noticed the sign
saying that the fire danger was "extreme." (Breathed a small sigh of relief that I wasn't

Fratton Park. The fans of Pompey deserve better than this, it's not fair and it's getting beyond a
joke.
The United States national rugby team recently changed uniform providers from Canterbury to adidas.
Now we have our first look at the Rugby World Cup 2011 bound Eagles 2010/11 adidas home jersey. The

Dutch Eredivisie champions AZ Alkmaar have revealed their 2009-10 shirts. The AZ Alkmaar 2009-10
kits are made by Quick. They were made by Canterbury last year, but AZ have decided to switch back

English Premier League side Portsmouth Football Club gone 1970s style retro with their new 2009/10
Canterbury away kit. The new kit was unveiled to fans yesterday complete with the club's new
shirt sponsor Jobsite. Pompey have gone back to their traditional away colours of blue, white and
red kit after last season's all-blue kit in celebration [.
Yup - next year Philly gets its own WPS Team - and they'll be playing at the new soccer-specific
stadium in Chester - a venue they will share with Philly's new MLS team. I like the combo and am
glad that the City of Brotherly Love will be playing WPS soccer next summer!

French Ligue 1 side Lille Olympique Sporting Club (or Lille OSC) presented their new signings,
2009/10 team and season kits to their fans at the Stadium Lille Métropole yesterday. The new
Lille OSC 09/10 kits are among the first offerings from Canterbury that we've seen for the season.
Of note is that Canterbury Europe Ltd.
Scottish Rugby and their kit supplier, Canterbury of New Zealand, has launched its new official
Scotland 2010 home and alternate jerseys. According to Scottish Rugby's website: The new home
jersey will make its debut when Scotland take on Fiji at Murrayfield next month (Saturday 14
November 2009). It will also be worn in the subsequent fixtures against [.
As reported by TSC, New Zealand outfitter Canterbury is in dire straits in their European division.
Teams like AZ Alkmaar went back to Quik and Deportivo signed with Lotto shortly after their jerseys
were presented.
This was due to the Kiwi company not following through on their obligations as far as per their
contract with various clubs in Europe.
Portsmouth FC have released an image of their new hone shirt for the 2009/2010 season.
The new home jersey for Portsmouth is designed and manufactured by Canterbury, the New Zealand
company, and is sponsored by Jobsite. Canterbury Europe went into administration recently but the
new kits for Portsmouth were already created, so it appears very likely that Pompey will be wearing
Canterbury kits this season and will have new kits from a different kit manufacturer next
season.
Yup - it's a busy day in Canterbury, with lots of computer work on tap, as well as some growing
grass to catch up with, a bike to get to the bike shop, maybe even a little bit of exercise (other
than mowing) and reading to squeeze in along the way. (Hah!)
