which we won that made us special.
The cancer that still is Calciopoli had just been let loose. Italian football was entering a
very dark place. Corruption and fraud were a common sight. Yet for one day we managed to win by
overcoming our difficulties.
Arsenal agree terms with Barca for Fabregas | News Archive | News | Arsenal.com I'm not sure how to
feel about this but it is finally over. Cesc Fabregas is now officially a Barca player with a bunch
of money going the other way. Here are my thoughts: It had to end this way - the negative press and
momentum were like a cancer eating away at the club.

in folic acid and potassium. Drinking pomegranate juice has been linked to several health benefits
including reduced risk of cancer, lowered blood pressure and improved blood cholesterol.
Part of the problem with a twenty-four hour rolling news culture is that the need for
instantaneous news, justice and retribution becomes like a drug. The story of Gary Cook's email
account has already buzzed around the world and it seems that most people have already made up
their minds before Manchester City Football Club has even had the chance to finalise its
investigation into what has been going on with regard to some insulting emails that were sent
whether accidentally or deliberately, whether by Cook himself or by someone that had hacked his
email account to Dr Anthonia Onuoha, the mother and agent of Nedum Onuoha, a Manchester City
squad player, mocking Dr Onuoha's battle with cancer.

Why 'jokes' about cancer are no laughing matter
A few weeks ago, when parts of London were in flames, the much-loved broadcaster Danny Baker
wrote on Twitter that he wished cancer on every one of the rioters. Maybe he was trying to be funny
but it didn't read that way.

The news has just broken on the Manchester City website that Garry Cook has resigned from his
post over claims that he inadvertently sent an email earmarked for Brian Marwood to Nedum Onuoha's
mum/agent Anthonia that contained whimsical references to her cancer.
Quite the plot. Someone in the middle of the night sometime last year managed to hack into City
CEO Garry Cook's email, to send a highly offensive reply to Nedum Onuoha's mother, who has cancer,
ridiculing her illness. The reaction was predictably one of outrage.
The reply was addressed to Brian Marwood, City's director of football operations but the hacker
clicked on reply all and the damage was done.
Why Garry Cook will be instantly forgotten and Blackburn fans are finally waking up and
smelling the chicken
Garry Cook is gone and will be instantly forgotten. He left Manchester City with typical
gracelessness. He refused to apologise for the distress caused to a cancer sufferer.
The U.S. WNT held its pre-game training at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park yesterday in front of about
1,500 fans. The fans seem to enjoy the open training, as did the players, who signed autographs for

coming and told them she'd see them tonight vs.

divorcing his wife who recently underwent a double mastectomy?
We all know that answer.

That's the verdict of AVB has he took on his press conference with the media ahead of tomorrow's
game against Newcastle.
As we all know the pressure on the manager here is immense according to the media because of the
levels of expectation that is demanded by the owner. AVB was quick to defend his role here and
said:
"I am 100 per cent certain I will be at Chelsea at the end of the season.
NOTE: I know several of you have stated that you really don't care when I write about that other
sport I referee. If that's the case for you, you can safely skip this series of entries. This blog
still has the same purpose as always (self-evaluation and venting when necessary), but it won't be
focused on footy for a while, as for me this is the soccer off-season.
