Kori Quinn, our friend who has been battling cancer for over a year, was visited recently by Wizards defender Matt Besler and midfielder Graham Zusi. According to Kori's mom, Matt and Graham were big celebrities with Kori and her teammates. Check out the entire photo gallery.

Late Tuesday word emerged from Haiti of a devastating earthquake in a place that can least afford such a challenge. Red Bull New York midfielder Seth Stammler once tagged along on a trip to Haiti with then-teammate Jozy Altidore. Stammler was so disturbed at the impoverished conditions there he pledged to do something about it.

Since Dave Dir left FC Dallas he's been running ASG Futbol Club and working as a commentator on FC Dallas broadcasts. Recently Coach Dir and ASG has taken on a new cause, a fundraising effort to help assist one of his players, 12 year old Christian Greaf. Christian joined AGS when his family moved here from Colorado.
