With the announcement of another conservative, heavily German-born roster for the upcoming
friendlies against France (Friday, Nov. 11, 3pm on ESPN2) and Slovenia (Tuesday, Nov. 15, 12pm on
ESPN2), apprehension has begun to creep to the front of many US fans' minds.
A bright, if blustery, afternoon at The Cardiff City Stadium, then, and what should be a routine
day at the office for Cardiff City. They are still chasing the heels of Norwich City, but a home
match against sixteenth placed Middlesbrough should bring home a comfortable three points today and
keep the pressure on the Canaries as they travel to Fratton Park to play Portsmouth this
evening.
Dani Pacheco would be willing to return to Norwich City if he fails to get games at parent club
Liverpool.
The Spanish forward linked up with the Canaries in March after on loan and enjoyed a productive
spell with the Championship club, netting twice in six appearances.
His efforts helped Paul Lambert's side to secure automatic promotion, and Pacheco would welcome a
return to Carrow Road to play Premier League football next season.
On Saturday August 8th 2009, Norwich City were condemned to a 7-1 home defeat to Colchester United

Liverpool striker Daniel Pacheco is ready for another loan spell after helping Norwich win
promotion last season.
The Spanish hitman, 20, played a key role as the Canaries won a spot in the Premier League during
his temporary stint at Carrow Road.
And with Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll ahead of him in the pecking order at the Reds, he accepts his
career will progress more quickly if he spends time away from Anfield.
For the simple reason that we think the Seagulls would have been less likely to stroll to
promotion like they did without him, Elliott Bennett takes this year's Young Player award. Of
course, the man of the protruding tongue has since caved in to Paul Lambert's advances but given
the Canaries' rising star, who can really blame the lad?
Liverpool youngster Dani Pacheco is hoping to make an impact for both club and country this
summer.
The Spanish starlet enjoyed a successful loan spell with Norwich City at the end of last season,
helping the Canaries to Npower Championship promotion and a place in the English top flight next
season.

As noted in the first helping of the TSG Barclay's Premier League

It goes without saying that any team that gets promotion to the Premier League needs to look to
strengthen their squads from minute one to survive in the top flight. When Norwich's Paul Lambert

amassed nine signings this close season.

Chelsea welcome the Canaries to Stamford Bridge for their first Premier League fixture on Fulham

Manchester United 2-0 Norwich City Premier League October 1st 2011
Only for some very poor finishing, Premier League new boys Norwich City would have celebrated
a well deserved victory at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Red Devils were carved open time and time again, but ultimately, the Canaries would, in true
footballing fashion, pay for their misses.
Manchester United were in action on Saturday when newly promoted Norwich City were the visitors to
Old Trafford, both teams have enjoyed good starts to the new season, but after only managing a draw
with Stoke City the weekend before and after surrendering a two-nil lead against Basel in the
Champions League in midweek, the champions went into the clash with the Canaries with more than a
degree
