Zidane was set to play a charity tribute game in Vancouver Saturday, though it seems he will
have to sit this one out. He suffered a back injury after picking up his kid as they watched the
fireworks display on Canada Day in Vancouver.
Fans from all over the Vancouver area have tickets to see the French living soccer legend,
though without Zidane the game must go on.

Zidane was going to cancel his game in Vancouver after a back injury on Canada Day, but I guess
sympathy for the fans kicked in and he rescheduled it.

Zidane is in Vancouver due to play in a exhibition match marketed as "Zidane and Friends"The
event has run into some problems.Zidane is not able to play for awhile because he injured his back
while picking up his three-year-old daughter during Canada Day fireworks.Some people are demanding
their money (all $200 of it) back because most of the "friends" they had paid to see ( like Samuel
Eto'o, Alessandro Costacurta, Franco Baresi and Gennaro Gattuso haven't made an appearance.
