Welcome to the Friday Crackovia Club, where it's always a party in
here before the weekend! Of course, Crackovia is one of the most craziest football
sketch shows from Catalonia and this week was all about Barcelona's quest
to slow down Madrid using some insane dressing room rituals.
Having opened up a 10-point advantage over second-place Barcelona, Real Madrid manager Jose
Mourinho has begun organizing a victory parade through the Catalan capital to celebrate his club's
first La Liga title since 2008. Though the parade will not go off until the end of the season in
May, Mourinho has already started making unprecedented arrangements to hold a title celebration in
a rival city.

It's Valentine's Day, love is in the air, the goose is getting fat, yadda yadda yadda. We
thought we'd have a look at some of the greatest, most enduring romances that football has
facilitated over the year because love, in all its forms, is a beautiful thing.
I'm not going to lie to you. As much as I'd like to sit here and tell you about all of the great
action that is taking place this weekend, I'm having a hard time coming up with enough to fill up
this entry. There are a pair of great matches on Sunday, that are taking place at the same time,
unfortunately, but other than that, the pickings are pretty slim.
It was a depleted Barcelona side that turned up in Valencia tonight, but it was also a team that
does't give and they got a credible 1-1 draw in their Copa del Rey semi-final first-leg. Barca will
be heavy favorites now to finish this tie off at the Camp Now.
Barca were given an early scare when Roberto Soldado raced onto a through ball, but Pinto came
racing out of his goal to slide in and clear the danger, appearing to use his hand as he did so,
only for play to be waved on.

A day after a riot at a club soccer game in Egypt left at least 74 dead and many others injured,
Egypt's prime minister has dissolved the Egyptian FA's board.
Kamal el-Ganzouri announced the decision to dissolve the board during Thursday's emergency
parliamentary session, and also said that the governor of Port Said (where the game took place) and
the area's police chief have resigned.
A goal from Sergio Ramos was enough to gave Real Madrid a slender 1-0 win against city rivals
Getafe to maintain their seven-point lead over title rivals Barcelona at the top of the Spanish
Liga.
The visitors dominated possession but created few clear-cut opportunities and the match was
eventually settled by Ramos's 18th-minute goal, the Spanish international defender meeting Mesut
Özil's corner with a flying header that powered into the top right coner.
Real Madrid kept their 7 point lead ahead at the top of La Liga after a 1-0 win over Getafe as
Barcelona beat Real Sociedad 2-1. Sergio Ramos' goal proved decisive at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez
whilst at the Camp Nou, a youthful Barcelona side held out for a well deserved 2-1 win over Real

A pitch invasion took center stage during the first half at Anfield this evening, if only
because no one else could. There's something in here about the cat being more productive than Andy
Carroll, too.
Also, it already has at least three Twitter accounts. Of course. (One of them.)
Another cat, a black one, bolted across the Camp Nou pitch this weekend, possibly an ominous
harbinger for their title defense.

Football is the world's game, but like any sport, it's appeal is not fully universal. The
Internet, meanwhile, has proven that two things are more popular than all else: pornography and
cats. And since mixing pornography with football would run against numerous public indecency laws
in various parts of the world, that means football executives have no choice but to add cats to the
game in order to push it to the next level.

Today, a guest post from Abdul Rahman Al Ze'bi, who thinks Our Beloved Valencia needs a lot of

What Does Valencia CF need?
This has been the question everyone asks.
We're about to get started with all of the action in the European cups knockout stages. On Tuesday,
the eighth-finals of the Champions League begin, while we will see the beginning of the knockout
rounds of the Europa League on Thursday. Let's not forget that this past week saw the beginning of
the group stage of the Copa Libertadores, South America's most prestigious club tournament.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE action was back after a break with Spanish representative FC BARCELONA travelling
to BAYERN LEVERKUSEN for the 1º leg last 16 teams match. The final result was a 1 - 3 victory for
Barcelona which "virtually" puts them into the quarter-final with the exception of a surprise
result (possible) at "Camp Nou" in the 2º leg return match in two weeks.

Last night, Real Madrid were given the most glorious opportunity to go to bed with a 13-point lead
over Barcelona. It was an opportunity that was as clear as day: against a bottom team who were on a
freefall (Racing Santander), at home and on the back of what has largely been a sweet Valentine's
Month for Real Madrid.

FC Barcelona cut the lead at the top back to ten points with a brilliant 5-1 win against
Valencia. Unai Emery's side has always made Barca struggle, but this was completely different. Even
though it didn't start well conceding a goal early, but after that it was total domination. We had

Lionel Messi shone his magic once again as he leads Barcelona in demolishing third place
Valencia 5-1 at Camp Nou by scoring four goals and providing an important contribution for Barca's
fifth scored by Xavi Hernandez.
The Argentinian's quart-trick also improved his goal scoring tally into 27 already this season

Pichichi battle for the two top players by the end of competition.

32-3 margin en route to a resounding home win.
Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu says the club will not "enter the madness market"
this summer in pursuit of fresh faces.
Barca have been linked with big money moves for Tottenham winger Gareth Bale and Arsenal striker
Robin van Persie, but Bartomeu is prepared to admit while these players would be welcome additions
to the Camp Nou ranks, but insists they have no plans to make a move.
