"Pardon my French, but Cameron is so tight that if you stuck a lump of coal up his ass, in two
weeks you'd have a diamond." -- Ferris Bueller's Day Off This isn't time to beat a dead horse, as
it were. Bob Bradley got enough criticism from U.S. fans throughout his tenure, whether rightly or
wrongly; informed or knee-jerk.
Closing in on a season defining fortnight, I have several questions about our beloved Naranja. We
discussed this ad naseum over lunch today. The answers, of course, will mean the difference between
attending the playoffs possibly for the last time at Robertson Stadium and watching the playoffs
from the depths of my couch (those that are actually broadcast on noncable TV).
Liverpool hasn't won at the Britannia Stadium in the Premier League and they will be in for another
tough game at Stoke on Saturday.
Tony Pulis has done some great business in the transfer market and it's been a real show of
ambition by Stoke.
They've brought in the likes of Peter Crouch, Matthew Upton, Jonathan Woodgate and Cameron Jerome
and look set for a good season.
As always, please comment. Apologies that all these polls have to be on separate posts- I seem
to only be able to post one poll per post.

Since Marty tagged me as "Poll Boy", here are some interesting poll results from the season. I
placed the Cameron poll 1st, as it's more relevant to the current polls. These are revealing as to
where we've been and who we are today...Do you still stand by your previous votes?
Lucas Leiva is hoping Liverpool can pick up from where they left off prior to the international
break, and start September with a bang by winning at Stoke City on Saturday.
The new-look Reds side saw a return of seven points from their first three games in the Barclays
Premier League, and having impressed many onlookers with their array of attacking football under
Kenny Dalglish, the Brazilian midfielder is eager for the squad to continue performing.
The 2011-12 Development Academy season kicked off this weekend with eight games in the South
Conference. In the U-15/16 division, Concorde Fire started the season with two wins. Three goals
from both Connor Antley and Cameron Moseley during the weekend helped the Fire to a 6-2 win against
Richmond Kickers on Saturday and a 4-0 win against Virginia Rush AJ Auxerre on Sunday.
Here are the final numbers from the Players Union for base salaries and guaranteed compensation.
I don't know about you, but there sure seems to be some wasted money on this list. For example, the
Dynamo are paying Carlo Costly nearly a half million in reported pay (there could be more
allocation money involved) and all we've gotten is a red card.
Stoke were denied a famous victory in Kiev tonight as Dynamo snatched a draw
with an injury time leveller. Stoke debutant Cameron Jerome scored 10 minutes into the second half
and just when Stoke thought they had the points in the bag, Ognijen Vukojevic scored deep into
injury time for a share of the spoils.

Top speech by Ed Balls (if a little troubled in the delivery possibly because of Ed's stutter). He
outlined the problem and gave Labour's answer. Solutions that could get the economy moving again
but are getting ignored due to Osborne and Cameron's arrogance.Ed Balls urges VAT cuts for
growthJust before that I saw Rory Weal speak at the Labour Party Conference and was so proud to be
part of the same party.
Week 28 of MLS action saw De Rosario make his case for league MVP, New York actually won and the
race for the Eastern Conference remains a mystery. Pedro Gomes recaps the weekend here.
