I just spotted this one today and thought it was worth a shout-out. The team over at
First Team Football are working on putting together a compilation of beautiful
women who make their first team or Starting XI. I am sure that they will
eventually have more than 11 beautiful women, but either way if you have an extra 15 minutes to
spare (while the boss is not around) these ladies are well worth checking out.
Posting grainy images off the telly isn't really our style. But in Tottenham's Michael Dawson's
case, we're making an exception.
Why?
Because he's given us an exceptional peek at his nethers.
God bless footy players who have no concern for cameras nor public flashing. God bless them
everyone.
At simply Futbol we like to welcome talent, sometimes that talent does not have to inside a
football pitch, or maybe it can be inside the pitch but without the interaction of the ball.
The Uruguayan vedette Andrea Ghidone made a promise a few months back, her promise was that if she
were selected to be part of the cast of "Dancing for a dream" (Bailando por un Sueno), similar to
the American "Dancing with the stars" she would pose in her underwear during the match San Lorenzo
played Huracan.
Hmm. Manchester United's Michael Carrick doesn't look too thrilled by the cameras outside Foster's
Fish and Chips. Either that or someone forgot his tartar sauce.
While everyone else has air-pocket face and windswept hair (just look at little Summer down in
front), John and Toni Terry's son Georgie knows how to keep it cool for the cameras. Nice one,
kiddo!
I'll be dropping Random Thoughts at S365 before long, but then I must hit the road a bit. Posting
will be tough for a spell, but I will find a way...MLS had who knows how many Matchday 360 cameras
trained on the NYRB debut of Thierry Henry.Sticking with MLSS, Simon Borg hits the nail on the head
with D.
Posting grainy images off the telly isn't really our style as you know, we prefer huge HQs to do
our best stalking/analyzing/etc over. But in Tottenham's Michael Dawson's case, we're making an
exception.
Why?
Because he's given us an exceptional peek at his nethers.
God bless footy players who have no concern for cameras nor public flashing.
Simply put: players can't get away with anything today. First there's the referee and
his band of merry hooligans, then there are the televisions cameras which see more than the Mossad,
only to be followed into the room by Photoshop.
Arjen Robben tumbled himself into a little ball against Brazil (yesterday too, but they're not
that quick).
Xabi Alonso, his wife Nagore, her bump, and their son Jon were out for a stroll at Park Retiro
in Madrid recently.
Stating the obvious: Xabi is so fit.
Stating the obvious part II: our readers rock. These exclusive pics were sent in by the
lovely Kickette Bridget Patrick who happened to be nearby and had the wherewithal to document her
discovery for us to enjoy.
The US's June 18th meeting with Slovenia was a pivotal moment for soccer in America. Not
because of the stunning second-half performance that saw the Yanks battle back from a 2-0 half-time
deficit. Nor was it because of the referee's botched call on Maurice Edu's winner. US Soccer
transitioned into a new era when ESPN cameras captured the first footage of an adult American
soccer fan crying in the stands, (presumably) because of an event that took place on the field, in
the 82nd minute.
The Special One took his first Real Madrid training session today, which probably went perfectly
fine. The cameras did capture this one facepalm moment though, which is just begging to be
captioned. Do your best/worst...
So no cameras or microchips for a while after FIFA shut the door to technology in Zurich. But world
soccer's governing body does often sound a trifle fascistic to my ears:"It is the end of the
potential use of technology in football," FIFA General Secretary Jerome Valcke intoned. "Now it is
being stopped.
What a night. Celebrities. Lights. Cameras. The Red Carpet. Everything you need for a night at
the Oscars.
First up at the Nou Camp...
While everyone else has air-pocket face and windswept hair (just look at little Summer down in
front), John and Toni Terry's son Georgie is just keepin' it chill for the cameras. Nice one,
kiddo!
Following England's disappointing performance in their 1-1 draw with USA on Saturday, Wayne
Rooney enjoyed a spot of golf at the Lost City course of Sun City. Rooney barely got a touch in
England's opening game and it became clear why this country is worried about him losing his temper.
The best player on the park by a country mile was hardly involved in the game, so you have to
wonder what Fabio Capello was thinking with the tactics.
"I am here to win a Championship." So many stars have made that statement in the past, but none
have held the weight of a Thierry Henry. On a picture perfect summer afternoon, the New York Red
Bulls unveiled their 'pièce de résistance' amongst a throng of media and local dignitaries. Like
a Hollywood premier, Henry strolled passed the flashing lights and focused cameras to the center of
Red Bull Arena, where he was met by Red Bull brass Erik Soler, Hans Backe, head of Red Bull Global
Soccer Dietmar Beiersdorfer, and league commisioner, Don Garber.
It was a great night for the game of Soccer/Football as one of England's top clubs Tottenham
Hotspur came to play in the first match of the Barclays New York Challenge. Their opponent was the
home side New York Red Bulls and once Thierry Henry came out of the tunnel to start warming up, the
cameras on the field showed him on the jumbo trons and Red Bull Arena erupted with joy.
Throwing all the big HD cameras on the budget for this one, Fox Soccer made one of the best
adverts to promote their coverage of the Premier League. Absolutely epic. Reminds me a bit of that
beautiful "A Night At The Emirates" video.
Admit it: you knew it wasn't true.
The reports that Zidane and Materazzi kissed and made up seemed...made up. The narrative is too
strong and swimming against this current would take the work of multiple saints and several acts of
God. (Plus considering the source, Marca, it's no surprise)
Materazzi has since publicly denied the supposed "embrace", with an announcement forthcoming on
Zizou's official website that a) nothing happens, and b) one day, yes, he is still going to skewer
Marco and serve him at a buffet.
Derek Anderson, the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, was caught on camera smiling
while the Cardinals were getting blown out by the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. After the
game, a reporter tried to get to the bottom of why Anderson was smiling. The result was a classic
YouTube video of Anderson melting down as the reporter continues to pester him.
QPR boss meets his match official match QPR boss Neil Warnock has turned haranguing referees into
an art-form. But following his side's 2-0 defeat to Leeds on Saturday, he found referee Scott
Mathieson was more than a match for his tirade. Cameras in the Elland Road tunnel caught Warnock
vowing to show Mathieson "four in [.
By L.E. Eisenmenger - BOSTON, MA (Jan 15, 2009) USSoccerPlayers -- These are boom times for Major
League Soccer. In 2009 Fox Soccer Channel and ESPN succeeded in finding enough of an audience to
make their coverage successful. Games on television portrayed MLS as a flashy, friendly, and
attractive league to follow.
I don't know anything about this film. I do know about Brent Gamit muggin' it for the cameras
though. NJB represent!
They already have Teerathep Winothai and Teerasil Dangda. Now come reports they have completed the
signing of Datsakorn Thonglao for a fee of $200,000 from his VLeague side HAGL. One confirmed
signing is Berkant Gotken from the Bundesliga. He was apparently sacked for drug use over
there!
After winning the Thai Premier League in their first season, the team that gets heavy financial
backing from a powerful media group, is going all out to make an impression on the continent.
Parabens to Alvaro Negredo who has had a great, great week with Sevilla! And
thanks to his solitary goal against Almeria last night, he helped Los palanganas climb out
of a run of 4-match defeats. Now now, it was an easy goal but don't forget that he also scored
against Deportivo in the midweek Copa del Ray clash.
It is being reported that Gary Neville has fallen further out of favor after his "one finger
salute" to Carlos Tevez.
The incident happened in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final match between Manchester
City and Manchester United on January 19. The camera showed Tevez mouthing and making hand gestures
toward the touch line after scoring a goal.
The Young Lions warming up prior to their season opener against Woodlands Wellington at the Jalan
Besar Stadium.
So were these cheerleaders from the Republic Polytechnic...
At the tunnel that leading to the pitch at the Jalan Besar Stadium - Young Lions and Woodlands
Wellington gearing up and raring to go.
This week's Video Of The Week is "Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait", a 2006 film that was
featured at that year's Edinburgh Festival. The film follows a simple concept: follow Zinedine
Zidane with a bank of cameras (seventeen, to be precise) during a Liga match between Real Madrid
and Villareal. The film drew comparison with the 1970 film "Football As Never Before", during which
a camera followed George Best for the duration of a match between Manchester United and Coventry
City.
Toni Terry and John Terry have patched things up already. The couple were sure to ham it up to the
cameras with their unusual displays of affection this week. While Toni may have forgiven John, it
looks like Wayne Bridge isn't so keen on the idea. When Chelsea and Manchester City met up, Bridge
gave the Chelsea captain the snub.
Xabi Alonso, his wife Nagore, her bump, and their son Jon were out for a stroll at Park Retiro

Yesterday, Sir Alex Ferguson struggled to definitely rule Wayne Rooney out of playing a part in
tonight's game against Bayern Munich, despite the fact the striker was supposed to be out of action
for a further two weeks.
Reports in today's press have revealed that after the cameras left the training ground
yesterday, Rooney took part in an 11-a-side practice match at Carrington, showing no signs of
injury.
Sir Alex Ferguson could be forced to face the BBC cameras under a new Premier League rule that
requires every manager to participate in post match interviews for UK broadcasters.
Rule Q17 in full, states that: "With effect from season 2010/11, all managers are required to
attend in person and participate in post-match interviews held by or for the benefit of a UK
broadcaster or radio broadcaster and failure to do so without just cause shall be a breach of these
rules.
MUST are urging Manchester United fans to take our protests to the next level on Sunday, in what
is our final opportunity before the summer to let our unhappiness with our current owners
known.
"Glazer Out" kits will be handed to any fans who want them, containing a flag, whistle and
cards.
So this right here is the best piece of the OneGoal documentary so far, by far. With the cameras
rolling in San Pedro de Sula they captured all of the madness, passion, political turmoil and
viewer frustration associated with this match. God in heaven, if you're listening, can we PLEASE
get a DVD or non-episodic version of this film?
By Chris Wright
German international centre-back Jerome Boateng has confirmed that he is set to
become a Manchester City player within the next few days, by completing a €12.5 million move from
Bundesliga side Hamburger SV before the World Cup gets underway next week.
The focus may well be on the World Cup in South Africa at the moment, and football stories are
being written daily as events unfold. But away from all the cameras and football there is another
fantastic story emerging from the continent of Africa. We are all aware of the loss of Bobby
Robson, the loss [.
Wayne Rooney was pictured taking a piss on the fancy golf resort at Lost City earlier this week
and has today caused some more controversy. Whilst I'm not one for creating a negative fuss over
nothing where our players are concerned, particularly during the World Cup when there are plenty of
other media outlets doing that already, you have to wonder what is going through Rooney's head at
the moment.
1. We'll see two changes in the lineup from the Slovenia game Edu for Torres and Buddle for
Findley. Buddle will find the back of the net, and will look his normal self unspectacular, but
solid. Edu's presence in the midfield will help with distribution and force most of Algeria's
attack to the flanks (though, to be fair, it would probably be headed that way anyway.
Strange approach from Portugal last night. Carlos Queiroz and his "let's not attack" tactics seemed
odd.
David Villa to be the man of the tournament? Could be.
But the red card. What was that about?
First impression: Joan Capdevila should be suspended for the quarter final.
One down side for players and staff at the World Cup, the cameras are everywhere.
Joachim Low is left with something to chew over.
