First, and most importantly, there is some sad news for the Wanderers World. Our dear Jussi is
retiring from his international career. His Finnish team failed to make South Africa 2010, and
Jaaskelainen announced his retirement earlier today. He was first capped in 1998, and has earned 55
since. Jussi, pure class as ever, came out with this statement:
"I have considered this decision long and hard, and I believe that it is now the right time to
give younger Finnish goalkeepers the chance to play on the international stage.

Little has been reported about Camel Meriem since his trial with Bolton Wanderers Football
Club.
Despite his trial with the club and an apparent offer of a two year deal back in April (2009) it
seems that Meriem no longer features in Gary Megson's plans.
Camel Meriem may still become a player in the Premier League as he begun a trial with Blackburn
Rovers this week.

Megson should be making a decision on the wonderfully named Camel Meriem soon. Meriem (or should
I call him Camel?) arrived earlier this week (apparently in a "neat and tidy" condition) and the
Ginger One said that he would decide near the end of the week what to do. Although I haven't been
able to do much research on Meriem I do know he's 29, a Frenchman, and his first name's is
Camel.
