HA NOI — The Vietnamese Football Fans' Club will co-ordinate with Vietnam Airlines to charter special flights for Vietnamese football fans wanting to attend the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Indonesia next month.

Viet Nam Airlines will operate two flights from Ha Noi and HCM City on November 19 if Viet Nam secures a place in the semi-finals of the men's fooball event.

Some might suggest the Singapore public are notoriously difficult to please. Others that they are whiney bunch who would complain about beating Brazil 5-0 in the World Cup Final. This performance won't shut them up.
A credible 0-0 in their opening game against the holders Malaysia was greeted with resigned resignation as the nation collectively sighed and said here we go again, a Singapore team promising much but delivering little.

You could see the internet wariors racing for their keyboard once Singaore defender Nigel Vanu received a straight red after lashing out at an Indonesia player during their SEA Games encounter at the Bung Karno earlier this afternoon. 1- 0 against the hosts following poor performances against Malaysia and Cambodia, Vanu's red gave them a target for their opprobrium.

The squad returned home yesterday after three defeats and only one win in Group A at the biennial event.
