Marquette's Calum Mallace was taken by the Montreal Impact as the 1st pick in the 2nd round of
today's MLS SuperDraft. The Minnesota native who won Big East Midfielder of the Year honors and was
also Marquette's lone All-BIG EAST First Team selection (2nd time selection), was the 20th overall
pick in the 2012 draft.

Calum Mallace (Henry Sibley HS, Minn.) finished his senior year with the Marquette Golden Eagles by
winning Big East Midfielder of the Year honors. Mallace, who was also Marquette's lone All-BIG EAST
First Team selection (2nd time selection), led the Golden Eagles with six assists and added three
goals en route to a 12-point senior [.
