Monday. To make room for Benitez on the 24-man roster, FCD waived Michael Dello-Russo.
As we expected...now it can be told:

It had been over 12 years since Anthony D'Avila last scored a goal in Colombian football. His goal
against Pereira on February 2, 1997 was thought by many to be the last one of his career at least
in his native Colombia. With seconds remaining between América and Santa Fe, the former Colombian
international did what came instinctively during his career.
Today, FC Dallas made their second move of the transfer window by signing Jair Benitez from
Deportivo Cali on loan for the rest of the season. Benitez is a 30 year old Columbian left fullback

In Cali that is.
ElLaJugada.com, a widely followed site that follows the South American game,
put up a question to fans of Colombian side Deportivo de Cali. Who would you want as your next head
coach?
The results, in this season of woe, will definitely provide a head slap and chuckle to the Red
Bull Aficionados:
