At their storied Santiago Bernabeu stadium, the Los Blancos came from behind through a Klaas Jan Huntelaar strike but failed to change the 1-1 stalemate against city rivals Atletico Madrid.

No word yet on Lyon's pre-season schedule, but that's to be expected because half our players will be involved in either Euro 2008 (looking at all the Lyon players spread throughout the Euro 2008 squads, one of them better return as a tournament winner) or FIFA World Cup qualifying. The players that will remain behind will be traveling to Dubai next week to help Al Shabab football club celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Serie A calendar revealed

Serie A Talk at related • 0 views

The Serie A calendar has been revealed, and like many the first matchday I wanted to check was the one between Inter Milan and Roma. If you're interested in seeing the entire calendar, you can check it out here. Here are the so called "big matches":

  • Roma - Inter Milan 5th matchday
  • Inter Milan - Juventus 6th matchday
  • AC Milan - Juventus 9th matchday
  • Inter Milan - AC Milan 12th matchday
  • Juventus - Roma 12th matchday
  • AC Milan - Roma 17th matchday

It's especially important to note that the title race will take a definitive turn after Inter Milan play Roma and Juventus back to back during the 5th and 6th matchdays, and there will be plenty of excitement on the 12th matchday with the Milan derby and Juventus playing Roma.
