Just days after Jermaine Jones made the move from the German Bundesliga to the English Premier
League, now comes word a U.S. teammate of Jones could be joining him in the EPL.
Sunderland is lining up a transfer bid for U.S. World Cup midfielder Michael Bradley. The Black
Cats are believed to be looking for a potential replacement for Lee Cattermole, who is battling a
back injury and is drawing transfer interest from the likes of Liverpool, and Bradley could be just
the player to solidify the midfield for Steve Bruce's side.

Howdy all,
Not the final everyone assumed 3 weeks ago, but it's the final nonetheless. Paraguay have
reached the final game by not even winning a game. 5 draws, 2 shootouts, 5 goals scored, 5 goals
against. They're hoping this one goes to penalties. Uruguay though are a talented team lead by the
two pronged attack of Forlan and Suarez.
Following on from his attack yesterday, Gus Poyet has dug himself an even bigger hole, by
basically claiming that Luis Suarez called Patrice Evra a "negro" but shouldn't be punished as it
isn't a racist term in Uruguay.
"I know Luis very well and I will go to court if someone wants to prove he's not racist," he
said.
Liverpool fans showed up at Stamford Bridge today wearing "Evra is a liar" t-shirts, which
stewards made them remove ahead of kick-off.
Despite Luis Suarez admitting he called Evra a name in Spanish and the FA charging the Liverpool
striker with directing racial verbal abuse at Evra, Liverpool fans have predictably rolled out
their usual hero worship of their player.
