I saw that listing on Denmark Craigslist today, not long after AGF ace Benny Feilhsber bagged his
fifth goal in three games with a stunning last gasp free kick to beat Koge 3-2.Matty has the clip.-

AGF midfielder Benny Feilhaber has bagged a hat trick, with two of the goals coming from the spot,
to see his side past Ekstra Bladet Cup foes Skive. Highlights are forthcoming, but may not be up
until tomorrow. One goal we aren't likely to see is the one by Helmond Sport handyman Charles
Kazlauskas in last night's KNVB Cup loss at Veendam.
Does anyone know when Psych comes back? Cliffhanging bastards...Let's begin with Metalist Kharkiv's
super-sneak Edmar. There's some lovely stuff (yeah, I said it) in this week's MLS Goal of the Week
nominees, but I'm gonna go with Kei Kamara.Man United's Dimitar Berbatov hit a hat trick to beat
Liverpool, and still this overhead wondergoal was the real talk of the town.
Soccer By Ives has the details on precisely how urgently stupid CONCACAF is - and not only does
this new idiocy plan for World Cup qualifying mean no USA v Mexico, it also means that each of the
next tier teams (Costa Rica, Honduras, etc.) will miss playing one of the big boys in the final
round. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
One quick reminder: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia returns in two days! Now, a day late, but
never a dollar short...Let's begin with the MLS Goal of the Week candidates. We have a nice
selection here, but the Omar Cummings strike is just ridonkulous. Get a load of the compact swing,
would make Albert Pujols proud.
The FIFA clipboard folks have arrived in America to inspect World Cup sites, and Studio 90 has a
report that wasn't quite up in time for yesterday's post.- Greg Seltzer
You know how this works, so I won't bore you with a lot of ceremony; we scour the window's rolls to
find the finest seasonal bargains, factoring in team need and other necessary variables along the
way. With the market slowed to a crawl out of continental penny pinching, we have lowered our
maximum fee from €8 million down to €7M.
On the heels of my first in a two-part series of unsolicited USMNT advice for the new World Cup
cycle, coach Bob Bradley discusses his second go-around on the job.- Greg Seltzer
... that FourFourTwo USA is coming to a computer near you (if you subscribe)? NSC pal Adam Spangler
did, and now we all do.Side note: I will have together a transfer window Top 5'er this weekend.-

It's back like a rash!Let's begin with NSC pal Grant Wahl's remarks on the state of soccer in
America at the recent Clinton Speakers event in Arkansas. We move onto the MLS Goal of the Week
candidates. I will go with Davy Arnaud for his majestic sun/shade trick. Is new signing Rafi van der
Vaart the one who can take Spurs to the next level?
And here I promised myself I wouldn't cry...- Greg Seltzer
I'm slowly getting back up to NSC speed, but slowed by have the weather well over me. Bear with a
brother...#1 - HAPPYHAPPYJOYJOY, REN!#2 - I happened upon what looks a rather cool new blog, where
the proprietor makes detailed touch charts for individual performances. This post covers Mo Edu's
showing against Man United on Tuesday.

IK Start defender Clarence Goodson buried a corner kick for the goal that put his side ahead to
stay in today's 4-2 defeat of Strømsgodset. I'll link the clip when the club posts it...- Greg

[Photo: AGF]Try to say that fast five times... heh.On Friday, Ryan Guy hit a sweet opener as St.
Pats ousted FAI Cup holders Sporting Fingal from the draw with a 3-1 defeat. We do not yet have a
clip for that, but...AGF midfielder Benny Feilhaber's spot kick near the hour rescued a point for
the league pacesetters in their 1-1 draw with Hobro, and we do have that reel.
I held this Season account opening Michael Bradley strike so as not to bury Sean's fine post right
away. Sorry for the wait...Schalke 04 0-2 B. MönchengladbachMaiespeis | MySpace Video- Greg

Meant to have this up earlier, but the ol' blog system has been quite screwy this week (also cost
me posting A few things on Thursday)... in any event, Herc Gomez applied the fortuitous capper in
Pachuca's 3-1 win over Tecos on Saturday night. Here is the pudding (goal play starts past the 1:20
mark):- Greg Seltzer
Still having odd troubles with my account here, but I managed to get in to post Alejandro Bedoya's
winning strike, which took all of 16 seconds. Unfortunately, the U.S. international was later sent
off for a second yellow, but the 1-0 victory over Kalmar sent Örebro five points clear for the
final Europa League invite with five to play.
Just got this email from the Friends of Joe Vide (or more specifically from his lady?), thought I'd
pass it on:Joey and I just met with his doctor to find out the results from his PET scan yesterday.
We got some good news and some not so great news. The good news is the cancer mass near his
pancreas is completely gone.
