I want to run a bit of a thought experiment. Close your eyes. Okay, don't close your eyes. Now,
imagine Freddy Adu, but only considering the past year of his career. Forget his being drafted
while still only halfway through puberty, the magazine covers, and the pictures with Pelé. Wipe
away the memory of the buzz that surrounded the US's wonder kid, and definitely
(definitely) make sure to leave behind all thoughts of how disappointing he turned out to
be for the national team.
It seems like it's almost a given that Harry Redknapp is on his way out of Tottenham – whether
it be immediately or the end of the season – but what really is there for him in the England
job?
Looking at the history of the job it's notorious for tainting the careers of what were otherwise
top managers.

(L to R): The Group B coaches, Japan's Norio Sasaki, Denmark asst. Danny Jung, Norway head
coach Eli Landsem and PiaRepresentatives from all 12 teams participating in the Algarve Cup attended a press conference
today, and as usual, not much of interest was said. (Coaches never seem to say much around other
coaches, right?
Amidst all of the buzz surrounding Carlos Tevez and his possible arrival in Milan, Inter have
slowly continued their climb towards the upper echelon of the Serie A table. The Nerazzurri have
won five consecutive league matches over the past month, outscoring their opponents by a 13-1 mark
during that period.

Dateline 22 January 2012, this date will go down in history, it is the date the fans at the
Emirates turned on Arsene Wenger.
The fans booed the team off at half-time and were rewarded when youngster Nico Yennaris replaced
the hapless and hopeless Djourou who becomes a bigger liability every time he puts on an Arsenal
shirt.
Style maven Djibril Cisse famous for his hair landscaping, goatees, and tattoos returns
QPR created the most buzz this transfer window completing the transfer of Nancy's highly rated
midfielder Samba Diakite for a reported £3.36m. They added Nedum Onuoha from City and Taye Taiwo
on loan from Milan to bolster the defense.
The buzz surrounding the Spanish Burgos province these days has been remarkable. They are of
course, home to Mirandes, the Spanish third-division team that have made it to the
semi-finals of the Copa del Ray! Mirandes will meet Athletic Bilbao tonight at
their modest 6,000-seater stadium, which was expanded yesterday to accommodate another 1,700
visiting fans.
Today, everything changed. The Union traded Le Toux to the Vancouver Whitecaps, where he'll play
alongside Eric Hassli. Eric FUCKING Hassli. Though also French, Hassli earned three red cards in
his debut MLS season. Remember when Woody and Buzz ended up in Sid's hands?
Make no mistake about it, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has created a buzz amongst Gooners that is only
comparable with Charlie Sheen mangled on Tigerblood.
The boy has burst onto the scene in explosive fashion since making his first league start for
Arsenal against Manchester United last month.
As Major League Soccer gets ready to open the season, we thought it would be worth taking a
quick look at a number of business topics overhanging MLS that are bigger than just one season.
We'll start with expansion.
When this blog started, expansion was probably the biggest business story looming over the
league.
Friday is the start of a big period of sports activity in Nashville, as the city is hosting eight
teams as part of the NCAA Tournament. With the arena only a few blocks away from the team hotel,
the buzz is everywhere. The visiting reporters are actually staying in the same place as the U.S.
team.
Coincidentally, there aren't too many connections between players on the roster and the colleges
that are playing in Nashville.
According to reports, Fabrice Muamba is in stable condition at hospital. We wish him a speedy and

Some things to take away from the Galaxy's 1-0 loss to Sporting KC
* Bar Has Been Lowered? The Galaxy did not give up much to Sporting KC. The hosts had maybe
a few decent chances to score in the first half, one of which was a goal, and another of which Josh
Saunders exquisitely dived and parried away.

As the U.S. Women's National Team moves closer to going for gold at the summer Olympics in
England, the growing buzz around the team surrounds budding superstar Alex Morgan, who has carried
over her World Cup success last summer with a strong showing for the team in 2012.
Though she's still just 22, Morgan is quickly becoming the face of the national team, both with
the attention she's getting off the field, and the goals she keeps scoring on the field.
Posted today on the KC Star's music blog, Back to Rockville, is the comment that Journey, Pat
Benatar, and Loverboy will be coming to Livestrong Sporting Park on August 31st. That's not out of
the ordinary, LSP has hosted concerts in the past and will be hosting concerts this summer,
including another Buzz Beach Ball on Saturday June 2nd.
Glen Johnson says Liverpool must remain focused on their league form and not get distracted by the
forthcoming FA Cup final with Chelsea.
Having already won the Carling Cup, the Reds have a chance to complete a domestic double at Wembley
on 5th May - just the fourth time any side have achieved the feat.
A very good morning to you on this fine Grand Final day. Its always a shame when Melbourne Victory
aren't involved so today I thought I'd share some special Grand Final memories from seasons past.
First up, that unbelievable night in 2007.... The build up to the game and the buzz around
Melbourne was phenomenal.
There's been some recent buzz around the Houston Dynamo, and it's not all centered around the
brand spankin' shiny new toy, BBVA Compass Stadium. As we continue to count down the final week
until the first Houston Dynamo home match on their pretty new pitch inside their absolutely
gorgeous new stadium, an announcement was made which has polarized certain entities and united
others.
There was a buzz going around Red Bull training as rumors were flying around about a potential
trade in the works with Chivas USA. Some thought it was going to be for Rafa Marquez, as some
thought a change ...

Robin van Persie may have picked up all the accolades but Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny
is fully aware that the impact of Thierry Henry's loan spell midway through the season played an
instrumental role in reviving the Gunners' Premier League season.
In particular, Szczesny recalls Henry's last-gasp match winner in the 2-1 win over Sunderland on
February 11.
Behind the Axe takes a look at some recent buzz surrounding JELD-WEN Field, and whether it is too
small after Chicago Fire defender Dan Gargan critized the pitch dimensions after the Fire suffered
defeat. Just like their diving tactics couldn't secure a win on May 20, his claims are unjustified.
Cobi Spans first start generated a significant amount of buzz in Sweden while veteran Ryan Miller
chipped in another fine performance for Halmstad.

The New England Revolution snapped a 10 game winless streak against the Chicago Fire tonight at
Gillette Stadium, largely thanks to the 2nd half substitution of Kelyn Rowe (1 goal, 1 assist) who
gave the Revs the spark they needed to put away two goals and assure themselves of 3 points. Benny
Feilhaber was also largely responsible for the win, as he notched a goal and an assist of his own
on the night, the first of either that he's had so far in this 2012 campaign.
