The crowd at Relient Stadium in Houston as well as the crowd watching around the world at home
all let out a collective gasp when Bob Bradley decided to make a change midway through a scoreless
semifinal. Screams of "WTF", "OMG" and of course the "#FireBradley" came down as Freddy Adu entered
the match.
Last week we said goodbye to our lord and master, Martin. He got married on Saturday (Eboue's
birthday. Coincidence? I think not) and is currently on his honeymoon. I wish him all the best and
I know you all do too. Unfortunately, this will be my last week and I will be signing off and
bidding you all adieu on Friday.

Save Beck's ink sleeves, Nicky Butt's cue-ball, the Fergie/Ed Harrison switch and the total
omission of little Terry Cooke on the end, it's surprising how little has actually changed over the
years.
And that came straight from the horses mouth. Red Nev was never the most pretentious footballer
during his 20 year career with Manchester United and England. He always knew his limitations but

Bad news for Chonburi and South China.
Persipura have been given the go ahead to use their Mandala Stadium in Jayapura for their remaining
AFC Cup games.
There are no direct flights to Jayapura (DJJ) on Garuda, the only airline I would consider for such
a trek. You get to transit at places like Denpaser, Timika or Makassar depending on the flight.
"When I see something happening I have to act" he insists! "I was a good decision maker as a young
kid. That has always helped me. I think my trade union background also helped me. I was a

According to this article in the Daily Record, Thai Port have signed Scottish midfielder Steven
Robb. The 28 year old has made over 150 appearances in the Scottish League for Dundee, Dundee
United, Raith Rovers and St Mirren. Welcome to the Thai Port, Steven!
EX-ST MIRREN STAR STEVEN ROBB CLINCHES DEAL WITH THAI PORT
Jan 13 2011 By Euan McArthur
FORMER St Mirren winger Steven Robb last night revealed he has been the butt of jokes after
deciding to move to Asian outfit Thai Port.
It's playoff time down in Mexico, so it's not surprising that passions are strong and tempers can
flare, but that doesn't excuse the latest football incident of a player taking his anger out on an
opposing coach. On Sunday May 15, 2011, Morelia beat Cruz Azul 3-0, giving them a 3-2 aggregate in
the Clausura semifinals.

Adeus Denilson. Ta-da for now (though I am prepared to wager that the ‘for now' part will
become ‘for good').
Denilson's departure reminded me that this summer was as much about clearing out some deadwood

gang to go though who is in that gang is subjective and ebbs and flows accordingly.
Following a run of poor form in 2001 after being played behind the striker, Paul Scholes was
dropped from the starting XI for our trip to Anfield. Scholes came off the bench with ten minutes
to go but two goals from Michael Owen sealed a 3-1 defeat for United.
So angry was Scholes for being left out in favour of Butt and Veron, he refused to play in our
next game, which was against Arsenal in the League Cup.

After FIFA threatened sanctions against Indonesia's breakaway league, the Liga Primer Indonesia,
the new league have welcomed the opportunity to sit down with the world's governing body and
explain their situation.
OK, let's put aside claims they had already done this and gotten approval (I think what was said at
the time was that FIFA won't get involved if the FA are on board), appealing to FIFA's morals and
ethics is rather like asking a King Cobra who hasn't eaten for six months to take care of the
barbeque you're preparing while you nip into the bottle shop for a few more six packs.

The Serb had his contract terminated by mutual agreement with just 6 months left on his current

While MLS has posted the early fixture list for each team, doesn't it seem odd that a release of
the full schedule has been delayed? Is there some form of uncertainty at this point that leaves
them concerned about publicizing the list?
