When the awesomely named Vagner Love returned to the club where he began his career, Palmeiras,
back in August on a one year loan deal from CSKA Moscow, he probably took comfort in being back in
his native Brazil, especially since CSKA said he had "urgent family problems" to deal with
there.
For our SoundOff today, now that the WC draw is over, we'd like your thoughts on how you think
the 2010 World Cup is going to pan out. Specifically, who do you think will...

I was just browsing on our friends Never Captain Nicky Butt and spotted this gem of a
video...
It always makes me laugh when team mates have a scrap and these Corinthians team mates full on
go for it. Big fine coming to these players no doubt...

was.
Champions-League verdient.
James Beattie has today issued a 'come and get me' plea to The Royal Bank of Scotland after
admitting he feels his time at Stoke City is drawing to an end. When asked where he sees himself
come the end of the January transfer window, the burly front-man replied "being showered with money
whilst I watch poor people cry at the tips of my fine Italian shoes.
I was doing pretty lousy. But now... Now I'm better. I had a pretty bad Saturday with 32 points
from 5 players. Tevez was my high scorer with 14.5, and Given was propping up the table having lost
4 points. (I wonder if Mancini's appointment will be the boot up the butt - and/or he'll bring
catenaccio to Eastlands.
We may have you covered when it comes to gifts from from a fantasy perspective, but what
about those of you that are actually footballers? I know bloggers One-One-Eight, GetsHandsy, and

A bit of what's
been going around Butt's Brain the last few days:
- Will Chelsea continue to suffer in midfield without Essien? A great analysis [Unprofessional
Foul]
- Another very solid analysis of a (former) Top 4 team - this time it's Liverpool's
problems dissected very well [Oh you beauty.
Once upon a time I critiqued the man who is now the manager of SBNation's soccer network and his
stance on the DP. I ran some with or without you numbers and titled it really poorly. I was
learning the whole blogger thing back then, trying too hard to make a dent in the world. In general
it was apparent that MLS teams played more open games with a DP for 2008, more goals for, and more
against.
