Bosnians, a Bundesliga sensation – part two

Soccer Pie 06 June @ 10:36 AM EST

The sensation of the first part of Bundesliga this season were certainly the debutants, Hoffenheim, led by three excellent Brazilian players, as well as equally important Bosnians, Vedad Ibisevic and Sejad Salihovic. The best striker in the first part of the season was Ibisevic with 18 goals scored and there would probably have been even more if he didn't earn a serious injury that saw him out for the season.

Matt Taylor: An American Story

Major League Soccer Talk 14 April @ 09:31 AM EST

Who said Americans cannot buy a break in Europe? The story of Jay DeMerit's rise from the PDL to the EPL has been well written, but fewer have tracked the fall and then the rise of Matt Taylor from MLS to USL to USASA to Bundesliga.

Think of those days and you think of Franz Beckenbauer and Gunter Netzer. These days its Bayern with the upper hand. Click to continue reading...
