So we play in Brussels against Anderlecht on thursday, our first game in the group stage of the Europa League. A very important game ofcourse, and a chance for retribution after last years Euro League games against the Belgians. But things don't look very good for us. We didn't get to play one game in the Superleague, so we lack playing rythm.

As you can probably tell, I've been grabbing a semi-breather since returning from wacky Brussels with a chest cold mandated by the Belgian FA repeatedly having us stand in the rain. It's better now and I promise to stop slacking soon. At least, I made away with some of their finest sweets. That shop is crazy, it's like browsing for nosh at a ritzy museum.

Fact: Brussels is Europe's most boring city. I spent some time there back in my single days and the only good things were A) seeing Darren Emerson DJ and B) making out with an English lady I had had my eye on for a while. Other that that is was whack as hell.
