And with that, 4 clubs have now the chance of taking the title away from the side headed by Muricy Ramalho. In the 31st round of Brasileiro, Atletico-MG, Inter, Sao Paulo and Flamengo won their matches and are just a few step away from jumping to first (something that can happen in the next round).

The above picture depicts what Reuters describes as a "sit-down protest" from Hamburg after stewards at Celtic Park would not let them celebrate their 1-0 win over the Scottish side with their traveling fans after the game. Tempers flared among the visiting team when stewards also wouldn't let them leave the pitch, causing some angry players to sit down near the corner flag as police moved in.

After the 29th round of Brasileiro, it seems no one wants to take the title home. Like in the last round, when only one club on the top won, the leaders collectively failed again. Palmeiras, Sao Paulo and Atletico-MG lost. Inter and Goias tied at home. And, in this way, Flamengo, the 6th side on the table, was the first team on the top to win.

Ok i dont think anybody will disagree with me when i say that yesterdays match was far from pretty.

Our midfield was not fluid.

Our attack was lackluster.

Our wings fairly ineffective.

Our defense and goal tending however was vastly improved.

While i will say that Bruno is no substitute for Miguel on most days, he was sufficient on sunday.

Maritimo have opened Week 7 of the Superliga (Liga Sagres) with a big road win over Academica. Maritimo took it to the hosts early and Marchino scored at the 13th minute mark, then Baba's first of two made it 2-0 before the half. It was one of the most dramatic victories of this year's Brasileirao. Sao Paulo had all the reasons to see its visit to Nautico end up in a sound defeat.

1)Sao Paulo did not have keeper Rogerio Ceni and two of its main forwards;
2)Nautico had a penalty with just 4 minutes into the match;
