Who's better: United's fit eleven or United's injured eleven?
Transfer campaign has hit the boiling point and many of the players from English lower tiers have
been in the heat over the past couple of days. Let's start chronologically, from our last briefing.
Firstly, Bristol City striker, Steve Brooker, has finally become a Doncaster member and Sean
O'Driscol's wish has finally come true.

I have had a few emails asking me whether Wes Brown is injured. Thank you for your emails, I have

With the Premier League over for another season. Here are some of the things I noticed from the
08/09 campaign:
Like a bat out of Hull
Hull City were everyone's favorite to go straight back down this season. They seemed like a
sweet little feel good story, content to have their moment in the big leagues before quickly
sinking back to lower level obscurity where they could be patronized by football and non-football
people alike for sounding like a thoroughly dull and uninspiring place to live.
The England squad to play Brazil next Saturday in an International friendly has been announced. The
main news for Man United is that Michael Owen has yet again not been included in the squad.
This isn't much of a surprise, he hasn't played that much for United, so why would he get into the
England squad?
The Cesc Fabregas spitting row deepened today, with Hull boss Phil Brown demanding to know why the
Arsenal captain was on the pitch and his assistant Brian Horton considering a formal complaint
against the Spaniard. Hull claim Fabregas - who was not involved in the game because of injury -
turned around and spat at Horton's [.
With this month's transfer window full of lots of talk and little action, Phil Brown and Hull have
quietly been going about their business. Hull, who were top of the table at one point this season,
have finally hit a rough patch of form and have slowly been moving down the table. The Tigers now
sit just six points above the relegation zone.
So what are the words that Man United fans have been waiting for? They are- Injury Situation
Eases.
Over the past few weeks United have had more and more injuries especially in defence but after
the return of Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown and Ji-Sung Park last night, Sir Alex has confirmed two more
players will be back for the game against Everton on Saturday.
Every season Premier League fans are treated to some delightful surprises, and this season has
been no different. We've seen Martin O'Neill develop an exciting crop of English youngsters, a few
Manchester United teenagers make a splash, Liverpool finally put things together, and Alan Shearer
finally made a return to the beautiful game.
It's always this way, isn't it? You wait forever for one bus and then four or five come along at
once. After a fairly drab season by Premier League standards, it's all gone frigging loopy as the
fight for European and domestic dominance reaches its final stretch. A month ago we (well mainly I,
but I'm sure you, too) were bemoaning the lack of really exciting games from the 08-09 Premier
League season.
A very impressive Stoke City side continued to march up the table by handing Hull City a shock
2-1 defeat at the KC Stadium this afternoon. In all fairness, Phil Brown's Tigers were completely
outplayed and had it not been for defender Andy Dawson's last minute consolation, the final score
would have been a little too embarrassing for the hosts.
.Scotland managed to keep their slim world cup dream alive as they overcame a stubborn and
technical Macedonian side. The boo's and jeers rang out around a wet Hampden Park at half-time as
the performance from the Tartan Army was less than convincing. Macedonia dominated much of the
first period and found hole after hole in [.

was left out of the England squad. Right now he has no confidence and he doesn't need to damage
it...

It's May, which can only mean one thing. Every single match around the country is important for
every single team in the world's greatest league. Today saw the bulk of games, and here are the
winners and losers from Saturday's action.
Winners Stoke City
Stoke City weren't just winners on the scoreboard, but they also clinched safety in the English
Premier League for at least another year.
The following is an opinionated list of Arsenal's best and worst moments of the last season, plus
some awards for notable and notorious acts on the field. The Ten Best Performances by the Gunners.
1. Fenerbahce 2 Arsenal 5. Our finest outing of the season. An intimidating crowd and we put the
Turkish side to [.
. Phil Brown's Hull City put the disastrous defeat in midweek to spurs firmly behind them with a
win over Bolton at the KC Stadium. It was not, however, a resounding roar for the The Tigers but
rather a timid meow as the solitary goal in their 1-0 victory came completely against [...]
With yet another exciting Premier League weekend in the books it's time to review this weekend's
winners and losers.
Winners Robbie Keane
Robbie Keane emerges from this weekend as the biggest winner. The Tottenham striker has had a
relatively quiet start to the season, oftentimes playing second fiddle to the red hot Jermain
Defoe.
For those wondering if things in the Merseyside could get any worse... we now know the answer. It's
a resounding YES! Steven Gerrard converted a penalty that shouldn't have ever been given and yet it
wasn't enough as Liverpool only managed to draw with lowly Birmingham City, 2-2, at Anfield on
Monday night.
With more than a half season in Coca Cola Championship gone, a lot of managers have been victimized
by their clubs. In the low patience era among the low tiers, none of the managers are given enough
time to prove their worth. there were a lot of hot benches this autumn , some of the [...]
When Manchester United signed Angolan striker Manucho last year, everyone was confused, anxious,
and excited. Rumors were floating around saying that Manucho is a carbon copy of Didier Drogba,
that he'd be the 4th striker Sir Alex Ferguson has been dreaming of, and that he would go down in
United folklore.

Sir Alex has been talking ahead of tomorrows match against Spurs and has revealed the current
injury situation.
Harry Redknapp may be choosing a mixed team tomorrow through choice but it looks like we may have
to pick some youngsters without having a choice.
Anderson was stretchered off with what looked like a serious leg injury, possibly a break.

There could be some good defensive injury news for Manchester United before tomorrows
important match against Inter Milan.
Both Jonny Evans and John O'Shea have travelled with the United
squad to Spain.
Yesterday it looked like United would be without Jonny Evans (injured), John O'Shea (injured), Gary
Neville (injured), Wes Brown (injured) and Nemanja Vidic (suspended) for the vital game but Evans
and O'Shea have travelled.
The two sides clash in the FA Cup quarters.
The PFA Player of the Year nominees are now out, and what a farce they are. It's not that five
Manchester United players have been nominated for the main award that I find farcicle. Nor that
Steven Gerrard is the only representative from the 19 other clubs. Nor that Aaron 'I can run very
fast but I get a little stumped when I have to do something with this ball thingy' Lennon is in
with a shot of winning Young Player of the Year.
Wayne Rooney was hit hard on the ribs by the ball at the end of the first half of the game against
Porto and that has now made Rooney a doubt for Saturday's game against Sunderland.
Manchester...

Foster has been left out of the England squad but he has been left out due to injury.
