"He has managed for the best time in the history of Barca.

If Tuesday's Champions League was the wildly unpredictable and younger older sibling, Tuesday's was the safer, more mature, more conservatively dressed older brother. The first grouping of games was full of mischief and slightly stunning scorelines, and the second matchups have everybody thinking "I knew that would happen why didn't I bet on it?

A report locally suggests that Persebaya coach Danurwindo's position is safe. For now.
I hope so. Persebaya this season have been playing some wonderful, attacking football. Early on that cost them heavily as their defence was obviously being coached by a retired kamikaze pilot.
But things have tightened up recently at the back and the last three games have seen them concede just one goal.

It's non soccer related but I couldn't resist posting this trailer. This is my favorite Christmas movie! I love when TBS plays the 24 hour marathon of "A Christmas Story" on Christmas Eve! My brother and I always start watching it on Christmas Eve night, fall asleep, wake up super early the next morning to see what Santa brought us (LOL when we were younger, now we sleep in a bit) and then after our excitement settled down we would be right at the same spot in the movie so we could finish it!

We love Rafael for...
1. Assisting Wayne Rooney's goal.
2. Celebrating the assist as though he'd scored a goal himself.
3. Scoring a goal himself.
4. Dashing over to his brother to share the glory with him.
5. Getting stuck in whenever given the opportunity.

One of his best games in a United shirt.
