In a press conferance held today, Jeff Cooper, owner of the St. Louis team that will play in the
proposed North American Soccer League (NASL), made several announcements.
The team will be called AC St. Louis. The logo is a Flame de Lis and has a clean look with the
arch around the logo representative of the St.
If you live in the Bay Area, are in need of some lightly-used IKEA furniture and want a
once-in-a-lifetime experience, then Shea Salinas has a deal for you! As you might recall, the
popular San Jose Earthquakes midfielder was scooped up by the Philadelphia Union in last month's
expansion draft. Facing a cross-country relocation, he has apparently decided to start fresh in his
new home and is selling off some of his furniture on Craigslist.
The agent of Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has told Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal to make
them an offer.
The midfielder, 26, younger brother of City's Kolo, has failed to nail down a regular spot in
Barca's first-team this season and could be on his way for £10million.
Next up for the U.S. could be a game against Honduras in Los Angeles.
The U.S. Soccer Federation has yet to announce the game, indicating it has not been finalized. La
Prensa reported Monday that Honduras would be meeting the U.S. in Los Angeles Jan. 24.
The La Prensa site also has a story quoting David Suazo's brother as saying the Catrachos would not
be able to defeat Spain "even with 22 players.

I haven't heard this one in a while and though I appreciate the introspective nature of this
idea I have to pan it because it basically makes no sense to me. Barca's manager, Pep Guardiola,
has delayed signing an extension with the club even after he's led them to every major title you
can imagine and here is his reason:

The new St. Louis team name, logo, coach and the director of player development were all introduced
yesterday. AC St Louis is the name. The logo you can see to the side. The coach is Claude Anelka,
brother of Nicolas Anelka.The director of player development is Francisco Filho, who worked with
Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United and at the French national academy for almost 30 years.
If Tuesday's Champions League was the wildly unpredictable and younger older sibling, Tuesday's was
the safer, more mature, more conservatively dressed older brother. The first grouping of games was
full of mischief and slightly stunning scorelines, and the second matchups have everybody thinking

There are certain expectations in a successful locker room, and according to England manager Fabio

Christmas movie! I love when TBS plays the 24 hour marathon of "A Christmas Story" on Christmas
Eve! My brother and I always start watching it on Christmas Eve night, fall asleep, wake up super
early the next morning to see what Santa brought us (LOL when we were younger, now we sleep in a
bit) and then after our excitement settled down we would be right at the same spot in the movie so
we could finish it!

4. Dashing over to his brother to share the glory with him.
5. Getting stuck in whenever given the opportunity.
