As Taylor mentioned, I will be one of the day-to-day writers for my beloved Red Devils. So let's
get this party started by doing a massive recap of our past "big" games:
CSKA Moscow vs MUFC (CL Group)
The Good : Well we qualified, and that's what really counts doesn't it ?
The Bad : As much as I love him, I'm going to have to call out Mikey Owen.

" I once described Mani to a Lebanese newspaper as a virus! Once he got hold of you he was
impossible to shake off. I dont know if they understood but the opposition players soon did.
We then progresed through to the AFC cup semi final, an incredible acheivment for such a small club
captained by Mani.

In you don't remember, Michael Owen had four pages of his 32-page 'Buy me please!' brochure
dedicated to his injury history.
Turns out he had a section devoted to groin injuries, which seem particularly relevant since the
United striker is set to miss three weeks with such.
We should've known.

Are you feeling groiny? Little Mickey is During last night's match, OTP light-heartedly tweeted
that Michael Owen's groin problems were not mentioned in the brochure. It is our, erm, sad duty to
inform you this morning that they actually were. We apologise for this drop in the high
journalistic standards you expect from OTP.

Soccer isn't immune to the rocky economic climate. Argentina's first division clubs are off to a
late start and without a television licensing deal. Moreover, recent articles reported that a few
clubs in the newly created Women's Professional Soccer league have lost up to $2 million dollars in
its inaugural season.

The brochure worked then. Brochure? What brochure? The Michael Owen brochure ofcourse. Yes Sir
Alex has taken a gamble, of sorts, in bringing the striker to Old Trafford, offering him the chance
to resurrect his career.
It's make or break time for our new number 7. With a World Cup only just around the corner, Owen
will know that a successful season for United will see him creep into Fabio Capello's England squad
that, bar an absolutely catastrophic collapse, will be heading to South Africa.

Take that, Malaysia XI! No, it probably wasn't the most difficult finish of his career but
nonetheless Michael Owen has a 100 per cent strike-rate for Manchester United. And his brochure was
right: he is young when the comparative measure is Ryan Giggs!

Somewhere deep in Old Trafford's vitals. A trio of smart-suited suits wait in an office. A desk
sitting near-dormant precedes a chair sitting well-vacant, all preceding a season now sitting
all-too tenuous.
The office door opens. The ass to whom the chair's groove belongs enters. Cue: The Tipping Point.

The infamous Michael Owen brochure has already provided much fun this summer. First there was the
brochure itself, which was undeniably hilarious. The fact that Owen actually secured a move to a
Big Four team does nothing to diminish that hilarity. Then came the spoofs. In yesterday's Daily
Dose we linked to Arseblog's very nicely [.

Arsenal fans have been losing patience with Emmauel Adebayor for a while. The temporal Togo striker
who is the subject of interest from AC Milan, has long since infuriated Gooners by his lack of
enthusiasm for making his talent be put to good use on the pitch.
So the guys at 'Arseblog' have come up with their own 'Michael Owen style' brochure for Adebayor,
to try and attract some interest for the striker.

one used to attract interest in Michael Owen, to help 'sell' him to other clubs.
