The announcement on Sunday that the New York Cosmos have returned - with an eye towards joining MLS in the future - is another sign that what was popular over 30 years ago is.

The scenes at the Nou Camp were both awe-inspiring and ugly, depending on which side of the fence you're watching from. Sometimes it was plain comical, if you were sitting on the said fence through the 100 minutes of madness.

This week's little saucepot is sultry Kelly from Kent.  Kelly has appeared on Broadway and loves nothing more then watching her beloved Man United play.  She's also massive McFly fan, yes, she really is!

We sit and we watch. Sometimes we cheer, we jump, raise our arms, shout, scream, moan, groan, put our head in our hands, yawn, eat a sandwich, chat about something else, but more or less enjoy the game.

Not everyone. Some people see football as a chance to 'let off steam', to shout at the referee over minor infringements, to argue every 50/50 decision even if it probably was made correctly.

I'm not a member of the Vancouver Southsiders, but if you're looking to join a passionate group of Whitecaps fans, the Southsiders are an excellent supporters group. I recently received a couple of emails from the Southsiders president informing me of the official home and away pubs. So if you're looking to watch some Whitecaps matches in a pub with a great atmosphere, the pubs below are the places to be.

I'm not going to lie. Wednesday afternoon watching White Hart Danny Rose* blast a perfect, once-in-a-lifetime volley gave me a body high for the rest of the day. Honestly, I couldn't stop smiling or watching the clip on YouTube every four minutes. * I need a better pun on 'Broadway Danny Rose', but I've never seen the Woody Allen flick.

Footballers out in public. Dressing themselves. Cameras present.

Let's take Real Madrid as an example. A few of the boys were out last night for some dinner in the city; not all of their clothing choices are ones we can support.

Oh, who are we kidding: the more Sergio Ramos dresses in satin gingerbread-hued blazers, the more we love him.
