I was really motivated this morning by the Guardian's discovery of Darius Vassell's lonely blog
from Turkey, which includes typical footballer fare like "Can't get any sleep, just thinking about
the many problems that i have here and the best solution. Lying there awake in bed, the sound of
the air conditioning is like the engine room to a train of stressful thoughts .

The Kansas City Wizards took part in the pre-draft ritual of endless trade talk, but unlike
other teams, the Wizards wound up the subjects of one of the juicier rumors of MLS Draft Day 2010.
Various reports, including one on the ESPN broadcast of the MLS Draft, reported that the Wizards
were shopping around U.
WV Hooligan found the TV schedule for the big show. Looks like the games will generally be on at 4
a.m., 6:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Pacific time (eek!).
Both ESPN and ABC have a huge blowout planned for the broadcast. They've already signed Martin
Tyler and hinted to 3-D coverage. Games will all be covered live and on site -- unlike last time,
where some games were broadcast from the studio.

The MLS SuperDraft begins today at 1 p.m. CT, with the first round broadcast live on ESPN2. The
video player above will feature live commentary (and possibly the picks before the picks are turned
in) from Wizards President Robb Heineman throughout the proceedings.

The MLS draft ended a couple hours ago, and there are 5 new Wizards draftees, only one of those
players though is already signed to an MLS contract, the other 4 will be looking to earn contract
this coming preseason.
Let's start with some really good news to most Wizards fans. When ESPN opened their broadcast today
they mentioned that the Wizards were shopping Jimmy Conrad.
