Once a power in Asia, the India national soccer team is currently preparing for the 2011 Asian Cup
under former China, Bristol City and Colorado Rapids manager Bob Houghton. Earlier today, the All
India Football Federation (AIFF) officially unveiled the India Nike 2010/11 home (blue) and away

Costa Rican forward, Alvaro Saborio is trying to engineer a permanent move to MLS champions,
Real Salt Lake. His loan stint from Swiss team Sion, will be up at seasons end. Even though his
contract in Switzerland will be up only six months after July 2011.
Saborio had suffered an indifferent spell in Europe, failing to hit the heights at Sion and
Bristol City.

It was the blind leading the blind when a local radio station called on me one autumn Friday in
2001 to comment on my club Kingstonian's descent into "administration." Much of the interview
through which I semi-bluffed my way centred on how administration did not equate to liquidation. If
only I knew then what I know now.

Stevenage visit Cheltenham Town this weekend. The Robins, now managed by former Kidderminster
boss Mark Yates, will be looking forward to getting back to winning ways after a disappointing
defeat against Barnet last weekend. I've caught up with Mark from the Robins Nest Forum to have a
talk about Cheltenham's aims for the new season, what they remember from their days in the
Conference plus their thoughts on former Boro star Barry Hayles.
In a scary story that makes us appreciate all the little things about the beautiful game and life

Former Celtic and Bristol City midfielder Evander Sno is currently in hospital
after suffering a suspected heart attack during the 63rd minute of an Ajax reserves game
yesterday.
Medical staff spent a frantic ten minutes trying to revive Sno with a defibrillator whilst still
on the pitch, after the 23-year-old collapsed during the tie with Vitesse Arnhem's second
string.

Again it continues in the same, you throw questions at me, I answer them, format...
For those who don't know, James Dart is one of the leading sports journalists in England and is

Ugly football or negative football is often derided as being bad for the game, however I believe
that ugly, hard working, strong tackling are qualities not only invaluable for a team to succeed
but also good for the game as a whole and contrary to popular belief good and exciting to
watch.
Brad Gilbert the former tennis player and coach to players such as Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick
and Andy Murray was famed for his unbreakable will and ability to "win ugly".
Bristol City have today announced the season-long loan of Tottenham Hotspur youngster Steven
Caulker.
The 19 year-old defender has been allowed to join the Championship side for the rest of the
season which see's him join fellow parent-team-mate Danny Rose at Ashton Gate.
Caulker, who played in Spurs' 4-1 defeat to local rivals in the Carling Cup last week, can be
called back to White Hart Lane after the first 28-days of the loan if needed.

'Twas only a fortnight ago that Pies brought you the shocking news that former Celtic and
Bristol City midfielder Evander Sno suffered a heart attack on the field whilst
playing for the Ajax reserves.
After coming on as a half-time substitute, Sno collapsed minutes later and had to be
defibrillated on the turf before he regained consciousness.
Adkins in reflective mood.
There really is nowhere to hide for poor, helpless Scunthorpe. Vultures the length and breadth
of the United Kingdom, predators are lying in the overgrowth, waiting to pounce on Scunny's crown
jewels. With giants Glasgow Celtic from the north of the isle snapping up star striker Gary Hooper
for a £2.

Holding up a football is just a cunning strategy to detract attention from Garland's enormous
and unnecessary combover. When you have enough hair for 11 men, why would you opt for a combover
style? Mysterious. I call this the Executive Combover Deluxe.
Southampton are believed to be leading the chase for Liverpool starlet Nathan Eccleston, with
Bristol City also in hot pursuit.
It is thought that the 19 year old striker would be expected to be able to leave the club for
another loan spell, to enhance his first team experience and gain a regular amount of playing time
at a higher level, than he is presently experiencing predominantly in the Reserves.
