Without a doubt, the third round of the FA Cup is one of the highlights of the calendar year for
football supporters. It's a golden opportunity to see the giants of football compete against
amateur teams made up of people with ordinary professions such as postmen, labourers, accountants
and policemen, etc.
The 2009-10 English Football Association Cup or FA Cup is now in the third round. It's been
around for over a 100 years and allows any club in England a chance to win the cup. Recently, it
has been dominated by the Premiership but notable upsets have occurred with League One and Two
clubs. The third round draw has been released and contains some very interesting fixtures
including Manchester United v Leeds United, West Ham v Arsenal, Aston Villa v Blackburn Rovers,
Wigan Athletic v Hull City, and Reading v Liverpool.

Everton's season has not gone quite as expected, but on Monday, Tim Howard helped the club do
something it hadn't done in its past seven games: Win.
Howard helped Everton end a seven-game winless streak that dated back to Nov. 8, making seven
saves in the Toffees' 2-0 victory over Burnley.

Here is Ian Rush on the last days of Graeme Souness as Liverpool's manager:
"The Bristol City match was a disaster.
The England 2018 World Cup bid team has announced its 12 candidate host cities and 17 proposed

Stevenage Borough seem to have missed out on the signing of Tamworth striker Nick Wright.
According to the BBC Sport website, Boro agreed terms with Tamworth for the 22 year old striker,
but the move broke down due to the player not agreeing personal terms. It's well known that Graham
Westley is after another striker in the January transfer window and obviously believed that England
C international Wright fitted the bill.
