The coach is sacked, a whole lot of laundry is aired, some no doubt utter bullshit, other true. Frank is scapegoated for a long period of administrative incompetence in the Roar and the FFA.

Round 4 of the Hyundai A-League wrapped up yesterday, with the round producing some mixed and surprising results.

Adelaide United vs North Queensland Fury

10,733 people braved the rain, and the majority watched in horror as North Queensland went ahead first after Robbie Fowler timed a run perfectly to score off a James Robinson wonder-cross, to the delight of the captain.

Melbourne Victory v Brisbane Roar: 3 – 3

One point from two home games is hardly something to be pleased about, but last night's comeback draw felt like a win. The revamped back line was quite atrocious at times in the first half, but tightened up considerably in the second period. Not coincidentally, Melbourne showed a lot more class going forward after the break.
