Ever since the offseason, the New York Red Bulls have been adamant about acquiring an attacking,
distributive midfielder with their third and final Designated Player slot. Recent injuries to the
backline have forced the team to consider other personnel options, though.
Andy Carroll scored an injury-time winner to give Liverpool a 3-2 win over Blackburn on a night
when stand-in goalkeeper Alexander Doni received a red card which will rule him out of Saturday's
FA Cup semi-final against Everton.

The Brazilian was unlucky to be sent off after he fouled Hoilett when
the Canadian was through on goal.
I wasn't watching Sp*rs v Bolton last night but followed events via Twitter. It was heartening
to eventually hear that Fabrice Muamba was stable, despite being critically ill, because it's one
of those situations where it's easy, and sadly usually accurate, to fear the worst.
All we can do this morning is hope that the fight he has shown as a young man, and a player, to
get where he did in football continues and that he pulls through this fully.
No one kicks the football like the one, Zlatan, Zlatan!
No explanation necessary. Even though it's six years old, this (ahem... "Who's Da Man?" by
"Elias featuring Frans") remains the undisputed best Swedish reggae tune about Zlatan
Ee-bra-heem-oh-vic to have ever been recorded.
Maxi And Glen Grab Win At Bridge
Glen takes his shot... Liverpool took all three points away with them from Stamford Bridge on
Sunday as the Reds put two past the home side. A brilliant work up to Maxi Rodriguez's first was
followed by a Glen Johnson winner in the 86th minute.

beating Reina at the hands of Daniel Sturridge, they couldn't quite keep their heads for the whole
90 minutes.
Every season needs a moment.
After battling back from a goal down twice, the Houston Dynamo ripped victory away from Real
Salt thanks to a tremendous individual effort from rookie Alex Dixon. After Brad Davis' pass in to
the box was headed out, Dixon dribbled past two RSL defenders and found enough space to launch a
shot that beat Nick Rimando to the far post, giving Houston a HUGE 3-2 victory.
More brilliant work from the Houston Dynamo marketing team...
RICHARD SWARBRICK'S EL CLÁSICO
This beautiful piece was made by Richard Swarbrick celebrating FC Barcelona's domination of Real
Madrid in their 5-0 victory earlier this season. It was produced for Sky Sports as a promotional
piece for the El Clásico return leg which ended in a 0-0 draw.
