I wasn't watching Sp*rs v Bolton last night but followed events via Twitter. It was heartening to eventually hear that Fabrice Muamba was stable, despite being critically ill, because it's one of those situations where it's easy, and sadly usually accurate, to fear the worst.

A brilliant work up to Maxi Rodriguez's first was followed by a Glen Johnson winner in the 86th minute. Every season needs a moment.

After battling back from a goal down twice, the Houston Dynamo ripped victory away from Real Salt thanks to a tremendous individual effort from rookie Alex Dixon. After Brad Davis' pass in to the box was headed out, Dixon dribbled past two RSL defenders and found enough space to launch a shot that beat Nick Rimando to the far post, giving Houston a HUGE 3-2 victory.
