Darragh Ryan, formerly of Brighton and St Patrick's Athletic has joined Stevenage Borough on a
non contract basis until the end of the season. He is a left sided defender who can play both in
the centre or on the left and is boss Graham Westley's first signing of the January transfer
window.
Not a game that will live long in anyone's memory, but it's nice to feature teams outside the

with a -22 goal difference only Wycombe and Stockport, the two sides below Rovers in the table,

Still not enough US players in action to get us back to our star system, but Brad Guzan got the
best result of the weekend in the FA Cup, backstopping Aston Villa to a 3-2 win over Brighton at
Villa Park. Villa seemed in control when they took a 3-1 lead through Fabian Delph in the
63rd-minute. Brighton's Nicky Forster scored in stoppage time to come within one, but that was it
for the offense.
