Disappointment that was the only feeling in the red half of Manchester after a boring 1-0 derby
day defeat. Manchester City's team sheet suggested that they wanted it more than their rivals just
to prove that the oft shunned Mancunian step brother is fast rising and will be a challenger for a
few years from now.

1. Another massive match and again all anybody is talking about is goalline technology. Time to
sort this out once and for all. 2. A Harry Redknapp tactical change allowing the floodgates to open
for a continental midfielder to tear his defence to shreds: it's like summer's come early. 3.
Nobody will be happier that [.
Chelsea: Daniel Sturridge, the lion who divides opinion is a post from: Just Football
by Amit Singh
Daniel Sturridge has enjoyed an impressive breakthrough season for
Chelsea this season scoring 9 league goals as well as 2 assists, a solid record
considering he has played wide on the right in the majority of games this season.

Before the England U21 game in midweek and ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash between
Liverpool and Arsenal, two talented young bucks went head to head to see who was the king of the
keepy-uppy.
On the football pitch this season, it's probably fair to say that Henderson has underachieved
for Liverpool while Oxlade-Chamberlain has been a bright spark for the Gunners.
Coach Raddy screen-grab off the live streamThe nightmare is over in Qatar when Iraq handed the 7-1
scoreline to send our boys back home to conclude a World Cup Qualifiers that would be best not to
mention in the near future.
Despite the nature of being a "dead-rubber" for this fixture, the team with Brazilian legend Zico
at helm did not allow any slip-up.
Manchester United's young striker, Danny Welbeck, is feeling confident about his team's chances
in catching Manchester City and eventually winning the league as the player believes that the
hunger he and his teammates have would lead United to glory.
Stating to United's official website, Welbeck revealed how he and fellow young talent, Tom
Cleverly is very keen on helping the Red Devils keeping their league title again this season.
A three-year deal Joao?"El MosQuito" will be buzzing around BMO Field for the
foreseeable future as Toronto FC announced today that Joao Plata has signed a multi-year deal with
the club. The dynamic yet diminutive Ecuadorian was often the only bright spark in a miserable
first half of 2011 and his re-signing was considered as an off-season must in most supporters'
eyes.
Liverpool legend John Barnes is my favourite footballer of all time. No other player has given me
as much joy and excitement over the years, and he always has compelling views on football. However,
I have to disagree with Barnesy's recent assessment of Stewart Downing's impact for Liverpool.
When Robin Van Persie stalled on his Arsenal contract talks earlier in the month, there were
tremors felt everywhere. Clubs were perking up their ears, waiting for new development. Arsenal
fans were quaking....dismayed that yet another "home-grown" star is on the verge of leaving.
Arsenal has not been known to keep their stars with huge wage packages and therefore it will not be
hard to imagine the departure of the Dutch star come end of this season.

Arsenal were ascendant for about 15 minutes following Alexander Song's brilliant foray down the
left flank and equally scintillating cross which led to the Aaron Ramsey equalizer. A commanding
midfield performance recycled the attack and the Spurs citadel looked shaky.

MILAN, Italy AC Milan held onto top spot in Serie A after a disappointing 0-0 stalemate with Lazio
at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Despite having the vast share of possession and a catalogue of
chances Massimiliano Allegri's men could not break down a stubborn Roman wall of defiance. A bright
spark was AC Milan's [.
