After 2 successive 0-0 draws at Broadhall Way, I'm hoping to see some goals for a change when we
host Shrewsbury Town tomorrow afternoon. In fact, 3 of our last 4 matches have been goalless and
whilst it proves that our defence continues to improve and adapt to the new level, it also shows
that we're still lacking a cutting edge going forward.
After lunch today, the U.S. WNT took a short afternoon trip to Venice (under an hour away by train)
and came away more than impressed by one of the most unique cities in the world. Made up of 118
seperate islands connected by 400 bridges, Venice has no cars of course, just canals. The team walk
around the city for a bit, taking in the sites and sounds of the lengendary romantic locale before
catching the train back in time for dinner.
