Marouane Fellaini has been commenting on tomorrow's game at Chelsea after their defeat at home to
West Brom last weekend has said that he expects the angry players to raise their game against
Chelsea. He said:
All the players are still angry after losing that game at home.
With Manchester United's match in Blackpool postponed and Chelsea being drawn by Everton at the
Bridge, Arsenal's win over Fulham sent the Gunners top, with Samir Nasri vaulting himself into the
league's elite. On a team level, Manchester City may have done the some, with their 1-0 win over
Bolton underscored by their more creative display of football this season.
After writing my match preview earlier, we have then found out the news that Frank Lampard
will not feature in the game on Sunday as Carlo feels he needs to give him match practice.
With Spurs being such a big big game for us right now we need to put out our strongest side with
the players we have available.

Lampsy! Singing Christmas carols! We've missed him so much! Our holiday cheer has hit new
heights! We can't stop using exclamation points!
As we mentioned yesterday, we love seeing our favourite footballers getting out and doing their
holiday charity events.
There is no question that the return of Frank Lampard to the first team squad and on the bench
against Spurs last weekend has given everyone at the club a huge boost. To then see Frank back in
action, albeit with a couple of touches but nothing more was even better still. It has given all of
us a buzz ahead of the two biggest games of our season and crunch time for Chelsea.
When the Premier League's "Super Computer" comes out with the fixtures ahead of the new season,
there are games you look out for straight away. Some are against the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool
and Spurs but above all else you always look for the games against United.
Obviously you look for these games and when they are going to happen as you know it will have a
major bearing on just how well we could or couldn't be doing at each time in the season.
The draw for the first knockout round of the Champions League is in.
Enjoy that one, Arsene.
Interesting draw. We're set to meet København, the first Danish side to reach the knockout
stage of the CL. So we've avoided the so-called bigger names in the lottery Milan among them.

There's a bit in the book of Ecclesiastes about how there's a time for everything. Solomon who
wrote it, is said to have been a very wise man. But I don't think it takes a particularly wise man
to suggest that if you don't make the opposition goalkeeper make a single save of any note during
the match, you will struggle to win the game.
Chelsea have confirmed the news that we have been expecting today that Gael Kakuta has signed a new
four and a half year contract at Chelsea.
On signing his new deal Kakuta said:
'Since I signed for Chelsea when I was 16 all I was thinking about was to get to the
first team.

A quick word from Nicolas Anelka's brother/agent Claude this morning, in which
we discover that the sullen Chelsea striker already has one eye on a lucrative move into
semi-retirement in the MLS when his contract at the Bridge expires in the summer of 2012.
Hanke Signs For Gladbach.
Hannover's super-sub, Mike Hanke, has completed a transfer to relegation-threatened Gladbach,
and will join the club as they resume training throughout the winter break.
Hanke has been in encouraging form this season, with three goals in seven short substitute
appearances.
