Juan Diego Gonzalez signed with Philadelphia Union on Aug. 5, ostensibly to bolster a back line
having serious problems. He immediately stepped into the starting lineup as the left center back,
pushing Cristian Arrieta to the bench and keeping Michael Orozco Fiscal out at right back.
Gonzalez had spent his entire career in Latin America so was an unknown quantity to most U.

In today's Re-Entry draft the Rapids selected Tyrone Marshall, who's option was not picked up by
the Sounders. Marshall is a Jamaican defender who's been in the league since 1998. In fact, he was
originally drafter by Colorado and played 1 game for them before being traded to Miami for David
Vaudreuil (who, despite what the announcers like to claim about Brian Ching, was really the first
MLS player born in Hawai'i).

look like?
Whose in line for an award?
Our friends over at The Yanks Are Coming did such a good job coming up with annual awards that
we wanted to....steal them and make them our own. Maybe a little....we just wanted a ballot...and
we got one.
Here's how the TSG corporate ballot looks:
Oh and go vote right here for the same awards
