Why wouldn't MLS players dominate the January MLS Camp though? MLS season is long over and
doesn't start up anytime real soon. On Wednesday, February 11th the US MNT plays in Columbus
against rivals Mexico in the first game of the last round of World Cup qualifying. The US has
had good success against Mexico in Columbus and should continue that success in next month.

The annual U.S. men's national team January training camp is always filled with young MLS
standouts looking to impress the U.

The first U.S. men's national team match of the year is finally set to kick off this Saturday
(8:30pm, FSC/Galavision) and while most of the national team's top players won't be there to
face Sweden, the match should still give us a chance to see some of the top young U.

So the Annual Scandanavian Scrub Challenge has come and gone. Did we really learn anything? I mean,
beyond the obvious fact that there were guys on the field for the US that have no business wearing
the shirt? Still, the US were the better side throughout, though when the Swedes threw on some kids
and started to press the issue, things started to unravel a bit for what has to charitably go
