It was the first time that the University of Denver women's soccer team played on the turf of
their new stadium.

WOMEN
UNIVERSITY OF DENVER 1, COLGATE 0 2OT: Senior midfielder Kelli Breidenbach scored on an
assist from Mariah Johnston in the second overtime Sunday afternoon in the Colorado Soccer Classic
at Prentup Field in Boulder.

WOMEN
Metro State 1, Colorado State-Pueblo 0: What a big difference from Friday. After pummeling
the Colorado School of Mines at home two days earlier, the Roadrunners managed only a 1-0 victory
over Colorado State-Pueblo 1-0 on the road Sunday.
The No. 13 Metropolitan State College women's soccer team, led by Becca Mays' three goals,
cruised to a 5-1 victory over Colorado-Colorado Springs on Friday evening in Colorado Springs. The
Roadrunners improved to 8-1-0 overall and 5-0-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while
UCCS dropped to 2-4-0, 1-4-0 in conference.
Freshman forward Kaitlin Bast scored two goals as the University of Denver women's soccer team
defeated Troy 3-0 in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference tournament on Wednesday in Boca
Raton, Florida.
The second-seeded Pioneers (15-5-1) scored what proved to be the winner a little more than 31
minutes into the contest, when Bast headed in a pass from senior midfielder Mariah Johnston.
The University of Denver women's soccer earned its fourth-straight Sun Belt Conference title,
beating the University of Arkansas-Little Rock 1-0 in the finals of the league's tournament on
Saturday in Boca Raton, Fla.
The Pioneers earned a trip to the NCAA tournament as a result of the victory; the 64-team
bracket will be unveiled at 6 p.
