The Beckham experiment could end up lasting another year. At least the Los Angeles Galaxy are
hoping so.
The Galaxy has offered David Beckham a one-year contract extension, which is believed to be
worth $8.9 million. The offer is an attempt to keep Beckham with Los Angeles, as his contract is
set to expire at the end of the year.
Mano Menezes
Mano Manezes has called up 23 players for the game versus France in the Stade de France.
Keeper Julio César returns but there's still no place for Maicon, Juan, Lúcio and Kaká. The
younger players, such as Neymar, who are currently appearing for Brazil's U-20s in Peru, have also
not been called up.
