LANDOVER, Md. -- The U.S. men's national team has had 10 months to fine-tune things under head
coach Jurgen Klinsmann, and now they will get to see just how far they have come along.
The United States will take on five-time World Cup champions Brazil on Wednesday night at FedEx
Field in a high-profile friendly that the Americans are using as to gauge where they stand before
World Cup qualifying begins next weekend.
Marcos, goalkeeper of the Brazilian team who won the World Cup 2002, announced his retirement,
at age 38. He retires after a career of 20 years, playing only for one team: Palmeiras; the team
informed that no other player will wear jacket #12, the one Marcos used to wear; also, there plans
of building an statue of Marcos to be planted at the stadium of Palmeiras.
Barcelona's attempt in beating Real Madrid for the signature of Brazilian wonder kid, Neymar,
could really be heading for success after the youngster revealed that he has been receiving lots of
positive input about the Blaurgrana from former Barca star, Ronaldinho.
According to the 19-years-old, Dinho have been giving lots of praises for the Catalan side,
something which increased Neymar's interest especially since the youngster always looked up to the
ex-Ac Milan player.
