So,Robinho has rejected a move to Turkey!
First Besiktas than Fenerbahce offered him pretty good money...
26-year-old said Robinho said : 'With all due respect to Turkish football, I'm not going to play
there right now.
I wonder , over the weekend, talking to his friend , had anything to do with his decision?

Okay boys and girls gather around! Lets play a game.
Here are the rules: First off, I'm gonna write down a name. Just an ordinary full name.
Then following the stated name you write down the preferred title the footballer goes by. At the
bottom of the page is the answer key with the correct names.
Réver celebrates a move to Germany by getting plastered
German side Wolfsburg are set to pay around €5 million for Grêmio defender Réver.
Like many Brazilian players, Réver is owned by more than one party. In his case; Grêmio have
55%, Paulista FC 25% and an investment group 20%.

The return of a legend? Adriano is on the brink of completing a shock return to the Serie A,
where he transformed into a top class striker and earned the nickname ‘The Emperor'. The
Brazilian striker will join league runners-up AS Roma and declared that he had unfinished business
to resolve in Italy.

Playing at a World Cup is the pinnacle of any footballer's career and they're all desperate to
play in them. Many footballers possess dual nationality which is granted through their parents or
the country they are born in.
One of the greatest attributes of the US men's national team is something that very few other
countries have on the world's stage. And that is a combination of good sportsmanship as well as a
lack of cheating.
Yesterday's games in the World Cup were a perfect example. You had Arjen Robben flopping,
leaping and diving as if he had been shot.
Two weeks from today, the US National Team returns to the field. Brazil comes to the States with a
young and talented squad under new head coach Mano Menezes, who will look to put his mark on the
team while giving the next generation of Brazilian players a run out at Giants Stadium. The
Americans will look to.
Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has denied any allegations of the Blues illegally approaching young
Santos striker Neymar.
Rumor had it that Buck met with Neymar's representatives in New York to try and lock down terms
to land Neymar at Stamford Bridge this season.
Santos, however, have rejected Chelsea's £20 million offer, who currently has a release clause
of £29 million.
For the first time in over a decade Argentina has become the main provider of professional
footballers worldwide.
Serie A has always been known for it's influx of Brazilian players. The Samba masters just love
something about Italy, and have always chosen Serie A as a preferred destination. We've seen many
Brazilian players in Serie A, from superstars (Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho) to junk (Angelo, Babu',
Digao, the list goes on and on).
So yes, a disturbing trend has emerged. I have fallen off the soccer-linguistic trendsetting
train and also, more importantly, the Portuguese believe they can slap an "inha" on something and
that makes it okay.
Well, unfortunately for the Portuguese (and Brazilians), the sheriff is back in town.
Last week Zlatan Ibrahimovic got into a practice scuffle with Oguchi Onyewu that was rumored to
be instigated by a dirty tackle that the Swede made on the Yank center back and the rough play
possibly put Onyewu's vulnerable repaired knee into question. Regardless, the tackle sparked a
serious fight between the two men.
A noticeable feature of Thai Port's first 5 pre-season fixtures has been the absence of all our
foreign players. Presumably they were given extra time off at the end of a hard season, to go home
for an extended holiday.
With the start of the 2010 season only 2 months away, a couple of the foreign contingent are back
in training with the club.
Brazil renewed their criticism of the World Cup ball on Thursday, coach Dunga saying players
from other countries were also unhappy with it.
You don't think they are a little biased based on the fact that Nike is basically the owner of
the Brazilian team?
Dunga was also angry with Fifa general secretary Jerome Valcke, who implied during a news
conference this week that, in criticising the ball, Brazil were looking for excuses in case they
failed to win the tournament.
Milos Kosic is a writer from New York that frequently visits The Final Third. He graciously
decided to send us one of his short stories that is perfect for the start of the World Cup. We hope
you enjoy it.
A few moments after Roberto Baggio had sent the ball skyrocketing towards the stars, my father
and my uncle got up from their chairs, stepped in front of the TV, and began to dance.
Could Neymar be on his way to the Hammers?
West ham United are reported to have offered £16 million (€20 million) to Santos for their
teenage forward, Neymar. The 18-year-old is one of the most hyped players in Brazil and this year
has shown signs of living up to his vast potential. But according to Brazil's Globoesporte.
Ahead of their match of Friday, I'm sure Dunga and all the Brazilian players are well aware of
Arjen Robben's ability to cut in and score.
Brazil defeated by Holland
In one of the biggest upset Brazil has been knocked out by Netharlands with a scoreline that
read 2-1. Brazil took the lead in the 10th minute when Robinho took advantage of some bad defending
by the Dutch. But an own goal from Filipe Melo (in which the goal keeper ia an equal culprit) and a
second from Sneijder, add to that Melo's supension - all these shut the door firmly on the
Brazilian national team.
Jozy Altidore vs Mexico
CHICAGO — More than 63,000 tickets have been sold for the U.S. Men's National Team's match
against five-time world champions Brazil at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
Kickoff for the USA's first match following the 2010 FIFA World Cup is slated for 7 p.
In the last year, there has been a sharp drop in the number of Brazilian players in the five
major European leagues (England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France). Though Brazil remains the most
represented nation among expatriates, the number of footballers from this country has fallen by 24
between the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons, decreasing from 163 to 139.

Chelsea are in the hot seat regarding allegations that they have illegally approached
Brazilian teenage phenom Neymar. According to his club Santos, Chelsea met with the player
and his representative in New York to agree personal terms ahead of a move to Stamford Bridge this
summer.
Interesting quotage out of the Chelsea penthouse regarding Neymar. Chairman Bruce Buck, who
revealed his superb sense of humor over the weekend, has now revealed that the club is indeed
looking at the young Brazilian starlet. He, however, has denied there was any neglect in Chelsea's
handling of the situation.
The transfer window is surely getting hot after several new stories regarding Chelsea FC. Chelsea
have made an official approach for Santos wonder-kid, Neymar.
The Daily Mail reports that
Chelsea have made an offer of £17 million while Santos are reportedly holding out for £30
million. Trying to sign an 18 year old is well and good but is it too much money to be paying for a
player who did not even make it into the Brazil squad for the World Cup?
AC Milan has completed the signing of Brazilian international Robinho from Manchester City.
Robinho joins Ibrahimovic and fellow compatriots Pato and Ronaldinho in what is expected to be a
killer attack for the Italian giants.
Milan signed Robinho outright for a figure in the region of 15 million Euros.
With Ronaldinho back in the Brazil squad, today's match against Argentina will definitely be
worth watching. The 30 year old play maker has been included in the team for the first time since
April 2009 when he last featured for the Selecao in a World Cup qualifier.
Considering the recent history between these two sides, one would pick the Samba boys as the
favourites to win today's match, however, La Albiceleste will not guarantee Brazil a
forthright victory.
With a little and very loose tie-in to El Clásico
The author likes this organization and the soccer it represents...
if you've read anything I've written about soccer, you know I like Brazilian soccer, the
Brazilian national soccer teams, and lots of Brazilian players. But there are Brazilians I
don't like, or who I think are overrated, or both.
