The Brazilian Football Confederation has announced that Brazil will take on Scotland on March
27th in Arsenal's Emirates stadium.
Brazil and Scotland have met four times in the World Cup. The South Americans came out on top 2-1
in 1998; 1-0 in 1990, 4-1 in 1982 and drew 0-0 in 1974.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has announced that Brazil will meet Spain and Italy
in friendlies later this year.
The exact dates have yet to be set but the matches will take place in October and November and
will be played in Europe (possibly London).
After the Copa America, the South Americans next fixture will be a meeting with Germany in
Stuttgart on August 15th.

Traditionally, TV Globo, the country's largest broadcaster, has had little opposition. But with the
emergence of Record, there is now real competition for the rights of the Brazilian national
league.
Globo's contract with the clubs comes to an end this year.

a friendly on 11th October in Torreón, Mexico.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) have announced that Brazil will take on Gabon in
Libreville on 10th November and Egypt four days later in Doha. Brazil have dropped to 5th in the
world rankings. Gabon are 68th and Egypt 29th.
