Emirates Stadium. This is the fourth time Brazil have played at Arsenal's home ground.
Juan and Kaká on target for Brazil
Brazil ended 33 years without a win against Uruguay in Montevideo with a thumping 4-0 victory on
Saturday. Daniel Alves, Juan, Luís Fabiano and Kaká were all on the score sheet in a result that
left Brazil temporarily top of the table. Once again, it wasn't a great performance from Brazil and
Dunga's men had to thank their brilliant keeper, Júlio César, for stopping everything Uruguay
threw at him.
Zezinho
Liverpool are reported to have taken a look at Juventude midfielder, Zezinho. The 17-year-old,
whose full name is José Luís dos Santo Pinto, is a little on the short side at 1.74m but is part
of the Brazil Under 17 set up.
The midfielder is currently taking part in Juventude's Série B campaign in the Campeonato
Brasileiro.
Juan puts his feet up
On Thursday, Brazil take on the United States in the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria. Brazil
narrowly beat Egypt 4-3 in their opener on Monday. The US lost 3-1 to Italy.
After a long season in Europe, the recent World Cup qualifiers and a large amount of travel,
some of Dunga's squad have been complaining of fatigue.

Kaká alongside Dunga
Brazil face hosts South Africa on Thursday to see who will take on the USA in the finals of the
Confederations Cup.
The confrontation will be an intriguing one for the two Brazilian coaches. Back in 1987, South

Gama.

Kaká, Dunga and Adriano ponder tonight's clash with Argentina
Brazil head to Argentina today knowing that a win could see them qualify for next year's World
Cup in South Africa. Dunga's men need the three points in the estádio Gigante in Rosario and
require Colombia to beat Ecuador in Medellin earlier in the day.
Globoesporte.com are saying that Corinthians Ronaldo turned down official offers from Premier
League clubs Tottenham Hotspur and Blackburn Rovers. While the article gives no details of the
offers, it does state that the forward has no interest in returning to Europe as he wants to stay
with Corinthians for next year's Libertadores campaign.
Of all the people to throw it at, that seems most appropriate Yet more crazy scenes from Brazil,
where Fluminense forward Thiago Neves was sent-off for throwing the ball at a ball boy. With his
side trailing 2-0 to Águia Marabá, Neves trotted across to take a corner. For some reason best
known to himself, he [.
Will their be more handbagging in Montevideo on Saturday?
Brazil take on Uruguay on Saturday knowing that they haven't beaten the home side in 33 years in
Montevideo.
The yellow and greens last win in the Uruguayan capital came in February 1976. The 2-1 victory
included a goal from debut boy, Zico.
Kleberson and Miranda
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has announced that Flamengo's Kleberson will replace
Manchester United's Anderson for the World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay in Montevideo on June 6th
and Paraguay in Recife four days later.
Anderson injured himself in the EPL's sides defeat against Barcelona on Wednesday and is set to
undergo surgery.

against a nonchalant Italy in London on Tuesday night ...
Brazil training in Recife
Brazil take on Paraguay in the estádio Arruda in Recife on Wednesday and goalkeeper Júlio
César is looking for revenge. Brazil's shot-stopper has only been beaten twice whilst representing
his country and both games were against Paraguay. The first defeat came in 2004 in the Copa America
when they went down 2-1.
Douglas Costa: over rated and over priced?
Weekend reports in the British press have again linked Grêmio's Douglas Costa with Manchester
United.
The Premier League club have apparently been chasing the 18-year-old midfielder for more than a
year. Now they may be close to getting their man in a cut-price deal, which could see Costa moving
initially for as little as £7 million plus performance-related add-ons.

The 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro came to an end a mere six weeks ago. But professional football has

News coming today that Corinthians seventeen year old centre-back Dodo (sorry about the picture
but I couldn't find a clear one of the youngster) is on the verge of making a move to United. This
move has been mooted for about a month and a half now and it looks to be drawing closer to a
reality as the youngster has been quoted as saying he expects to join us in the near future.
Argentina's underwhelming showing in the Sudamericano Sub 20 continued on Monday evening as they

Ronaldo brace sinks Santos
Two fabulous strikes from Ronaldo and a free kick from Chicão have put Corinthians firmly in
the driving seat in the finals of the Campeonato Paulista.
Santos had the bulk of the opportunities in front of around 17,000 of their own fans but failed
to capitalize and paid the price against a side which has specialized in hitting teams on the
break.
Kaká and Robinho in good spirits before the Italy game
Exactly 39 years ago, Brazil beat Italy 4-1 in the World Cup final in México. Italy got their
revenge 12 years later. But then in 1994 Brazil put one over the Europeans once again in the USA.
The last time they met was February this year, when Brazil saw off the Italians 2-0 in a friendly
in London.
Brazil celebrate
Brazil picked up their third Confederations Cup after coming back from two goals down against
the United States.
The USA took a shock lead when Dempsey's snap shot caught out Brazil's static defence on the
10th minute.
With 27 minutes on the clock, the US doubled the score after a superb counterattacking move from
their own half, ended with Donovan outfoxing Ramires before hitting a perfect shot past Júlio
César.
Adriano: They call me mellow yellow
Dunga has called up 22 players for the World Cup qualifying clashes against Argentina in Rosario
on September 5th and Chile in Salvador four days later.
Flamengo forward, Adriano, is the name that stands out. The player is one of the top scorers in
the Campeonato Brasileiro with ten goals to his name.
- Wellington at Fluminense
Rio side Fluminense look like losing another exciting junior team
player if Arsenal get their way. Wellington Silva Sanches Aguiar is an attacking midfielder who can
operate as a forward and was on trial at the london club in December.
Saturday night saw the big South American clásico in Rosario as Argentina hosted Brazil in the

off the bench to manage around 25 minutes in his side's 2-0 win over third division Itumbiara in
the Copa do Brasil.
