Liverpool Football Club has struck a two-year co-operation agreement with League of Ireland club Bray Wanderers and St Joseph's Boys.
The link up was announced prior to the reserves' clash with Bray this week.
Coaches from Liverpool will visit both clubs in Ireland to deliver training sessions and boost the development of young Irish talent.

In front of a sell-out crowd at the Carlisle Grounds in Bray, Co. Wicklow, Rodolfo Borrell's side played their part in an entertaining encounter, despite the torrential rain.

Kenny Dalglish wants Liverpool to go back to their roots.
Dalglish, who watched his young charges take on Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds last night, was speaking after announcing a link- up with the Seagulls and St Joseph's Boys.
The Reds manager is a close friend of Bray boss Pat Devlin and they had a similar arrangement when he was at Newcastle United.

A Liverpool XI will take on Waterford United next month as part of a two-match pre-season tour of Ireland.
Rodolfo Borrell's Reds side will go head-to-head with the Blues at the Waterford Regional Sports Centre on Wednesday, July 20, kick-off 7.45pm.
Waterford United vice-chairman Sam White said: "We're delighted to be able to welcome a club of the stature of Liverpool to the RSC.

Rodolfo Borrell will take his Liverpool reserve side to Ireland next month for a pre-season friendly against Bray Wanderers.
The game, which will be played at the Carlisle Grounds in Bray, Co. Wicklow, will take place on Monday 18th July.
