The best Campeonato Brasileiro of history, and one of the best in the world, came to an end today. After 38 rounds, 4 clubs were fighting for the title: Flamengo, Inter, Palmeiras and Sao Paulo. Many were the possibilities. And three of them won.

Flamengo, with goals by David and Ronaldo Angelim, became the champion for the 6th time.

One day after the end of 2009 Campeonato Brasileiro, the best players of the tournament were awarded. Placar, the most traditional football magazine in Brazil, handed for the 40th time the Bola de Prata (silver ball) and the Bola de Ouro (golden ball). Later, CBF awarded its Craque Brasileirão, a newer prize but the one that gets an official seal.
