Ah, it's that time of the year again and I simply love it. No, not Christmas, but the end of the
year lists that all end up being about the same everywhere you look. Seriously, I think every music
magazine has awarded album of the year to Kanye West, but that's a topic for another article.
The long walk.
I don't want to write this. For several reasons.
One, it's a loss to Arsenal. Fucking Arsenal. Nothing stings quite like a loss to that wretched
lot. Much of that stems from the fact that we just don't lose to sides helmed by Arsene Wenger it
was two losses in 18 matches prior to Monday's dissection at the Emirates.
Not today Drog
If you're wondering about the title, it is a reference to my yesterday's preview on why Arsenal
need to beat Chelsea. Nothing about maintaining the gap to Manchester United, nothing about
overcoming our recent bout of dire results against them and certainly nothing about shutting John
Terry up.
Anelka uses interpretive dance to illustrate the club's recent plight.
Just watched the match again. Catharsis, no. In fact, I believe my dissatisfaction was
heightened during the revisit. That second half, well, it's not just poor, it's downright shameful.
So much so that the display is worthy of an inquisition.
Branislav Ivanovic's agent has been quoted here stating that the player is not happy playing at
right back and wants to play centre half, has more or less said he wants reassurance that he will
play there regularly or will look to leave!.
He said:
"The player's contract with Chelsea still has a year and a half to run, The club itself
is fine, the only problem Ivanovic has is his position, as he prefers to play as a centre back and
instead he is often used as a right back.
Gael re-upping with the Chels? I'll admit, I didn't see that coming.
It appears that one our most prized assets and one of our most promising young talents will be
remaining at the club for the foreseeable future.
The Independent reports Tuesday that both Branislav Ivanovic and Gael Kakuta are close
to agreeing new contracts at Chelsea.

Tis the season for giving. No doubt about it.
The Chelsea Offside enjoyed its time helping out at a local Salvation Army. We enjoyed it right
up until we were ever so politely booted from the premises for jostling with some older gentleman
who bore a strong resemblance to Arsene Wenger. He kept mumbling something about Pascal Cygan.

2010- Emirates Stadium, London. Arsenal's last home game of 2010 ends in a win as the Gunners

At this stage, we need more than a hand.
What to say? I honestly don't know.
I found the passion had been sucked out of me during that second half. It was as if I had
suddenly been possessed by the spirit of Salomon Kalou. Or Michael Essien. Or any number of
passengers in blue today.
LONDON. England — Arsenal kept the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester United and
delivered a hammer blow to Chelsea's hopes of retaining the title with a 3-1 victory over the
struggling champions on Monday. Arsene Wenger's side had repeatedly failed to produce the goods in
crunch matches against their London rivals, but they finally [.
