I've been browsing youtube & google video for soccer commercials featuring women - esp those
featuring freestyle or just play. I noticed that the few Nike ads featuring women (USNWT) almost
never show actual play. This is curious - given the much loved the Nike Joga Bonito ads - which,
along with fifastreet ads, form their own viral video kingdom.
Maybe the photo gives you a clue as to whom I'm picking to win the Gold Medal match. The only
remaining question is whether or not the US will score a goal. Game time is 8:00 am and it's being
broadcast live on USA Network channel.
The player pictured is Formiga, I'll point you to From A Left Wing and Jennifer Doyle's

Hey everyone, hope you're enjoying your Thursday afternoon. It's a pretty one out there. If you are
walking around KC and see one of those green "Ink" magazine dispensers, go ahead and pick

closed due to construction.

While we try to sort out TV for next Tuesday's Open Cup match (we're trying to get it on Metro
Sports, folks), know that it will be available no matter what at www.USLLive.com. If the TV
agreement can't be worked out in time, park yourselves in front of a computer screen in time for
kickoff at 6:30 p.
Our Juniors are still undefeated at Regionals, and we'll still be getting you more details soon.
We're currently 3-0-3, and all three teams have the ability to move out of the group stage with the

Fun day of soccer yesterday, as the U.S. wrapped up a 9-0 aggregate victory over Barbados and Spain
broke two jinxes (vs Italy in major tournaments and penalty shootouts on June 22) to advance to the
semifinals of Euro '08.
